This is going to be a secondary server used to be a warm standby in case my current host implodes (see here for details) and if they dont implode it will be a development/testing box and a place for backup files to go.

Nice box and a good price for it, but higher end than what I need in a standby/backup box... I want a cheaper box to keep on hand as a backup box because I honestly dont think it will ever have to come online to handle everything... it will likely be a place for a second DNS server and a place to put backup files.

I'll match OC3's offer with the 2.8GHz XEON, 1G of ram and dual 250GB HDDs (RAID 1 or not, your choice), 3mbps (95th percentile) if you wanted to do quarterly installments.

if you are matching with those specs it's a great offer indeed BUT if you give him a /27 what wil you have for your self since you only have a /24 SWIPED to your comapny name? :winkwink:

I recommend you go with OC3, you won't regret it.

I can go down to $149.00 with the same machine specs and 4Mbps Capped. That is about the best I can do, unless you want to go 3Mbps capped, but that might hold you back a bit. With 3Mbps capped I will do $139.00.
