Bill Clinton one of the best presidents??
Who here thinks Bill Clinton was one of the best presidents the US has ever had?
There was moderate peace around the world.. well comparing it to now! The economy was doing very well! Job market was at its best! Am I wrong on this or ? |
There are two ways a president can be good. By doing a lot of good or by doing nothing bad. If you don't do anything you can't do anything bad. :winkwink:
|
not one of the best ever... THE best ever
i really hope hillary wins next so Bill can pimp it out in the white house as the next first lady. i see him strolling around the white house lawn in a smoking jacket... hugh heffner style :) |

I think Clinton was one of the best presidents. He had a bit of luck on his side with the dot com boom and such on his watch to help the economy but he still had a surplus which in this day and age is not easy. Still a few things would have been nice if he had gotten the health care through and such. |
Clinton was the worst President EVER.
He was impeached and nearly convicted, and the only thing that saved him was partisan political corruption. His administration had so many scandals it is mind boggling. Dozens of his cronies went to jail or resigned in disgrace. His weak foreign policy allowed terrorism to take root. |

He was more of aware of other countries and their cultural uniqueness than most of his predecessors or successors .... he also did a good job with the economy and I think he is far more intelligent than most other US Presidents! :thumbsup
|
If it were not for term limits, he would still be president.
And if America wakes up and realizes that he would be the shadow president for Hillary, she will be our next president (on paper anyway). |
Yes, Yes he was
|
He was an adequate President, which just highlights how bad most of our other Presidents have been, lol.
If I were to pick the "best" president I'd probably pick Theodore Roosevelt. |
from a european side of view! indeed he rocked and i dearly hope his wife will make it president on the next elections
these genocides over oil need to be stopped |

I miss the days of having a president that the only thing the other side of the isle could nail him on is lying about getting a blowjob... Which according to your logic is far worse than killing damn near a million people in fucked up war that has ruined our credibilty in the world, driven gas prices thru the roof, which will have much longer enonomic effects than anyone wants to admit... Locking up Americans and others with no due process, allowing the FBI to spy on Americans again with no due process and the list goes on... You have to be a complete moron not to see that GW is by far more fucked up than Clinton could have ever been... :pimp |

He was impeached for doing what any married man would do - deny getting a blowjob from someone besides his wife. Unlike those told by Bush, no one has died as a result of his lie. Everything else you have described would apply to Bush's administration. If Bush himself is not a criminal, he is at least criminally stupid. Quote:
Dubya has demonstrated, with his cowboy-style politics, how bad things can get when there is no cooperation between the parties. |

JFK- his dealing with the cuban missile crisis puts him very near the top Ronald Reagan- cold war, the berlin wall comming down and when he did have a scandal he stood up and took his lumps like a man and didn't lie his way out of like slick willy. Remember that when reagan took office we had high unemployement and high inflaction and he brought the country out of that mess. |

Bill was the best president since I've been alive :thumbsup
|
Canadian dollar at lowest with Clinton: $1:$1.54
Bush: $1:$1.06 You pick. |
his poor choice in mistresses, leaves a sour taste in my mouth
but otherwise he was good to go like the crunchwarp supreme |

The reason I've always ranked Teddy high is because I actually admire him as a person, tremendous intellect, but at the same time a tough guy that's not like the whiny ass little bitches we have now in politics. It's amazing we've gone so long without great leaders...a few adequate leaders, sure, but great...not even close. |

So who was weak on terrorism? Oh and btw I'd have a hard time believing Clinton had more scandals or corruption than either Regan's administration or Bush Jr's. |
George Washington

Good God it cracks me up to watch how people have been twisted to believe a seperate reality..... Amazing.
|
If the amount of money I've have is any indication, he was the greatest president during my lifetime.
If not.. well then, at least he was a good speaker when he wasn't trying to determine the meaning of the word, "is". :) |

Your second should be that I work in the adult industry. Your third should be that it is Sunday and I am on a porn board. Your forth should be that I frequently discuss my occasional weed use. Your fifth should be that I frequently speak out about legalizing prostitution. lol Now do I need to define Moderate, and intolerant? lol :1orglaugh :1orglaugh |

You can't be the president of the united states for 8 years and "do nothing"
What people mean when they say that, is that they wish he'd done more fighting. I think a lot of Americans are a bit bloodthirsty, or at least expect their government to be for them. |
