Content Owners - Check this site for your content STOLEN!
i am not posting complaining much about these people anymore, but this one deserves its own thread. now i just send the lawyers after them.
Check this site for your shit. http://www.tnaflix.com/video.php?page=4&category= Found a bunch of our shit there. Their day is about to get a little harder. :2 cents: |
More fucking thieves... great...

damn man - does anyone else get discouraged these days - this is starting to get really bad
|
people, especially those that don't produce content are failing to see that this is worse and worse each month. traffic aggregators like tgps and mgps and all those sorts of people will be affected by this shit in the long run too. i cannot believe how a blind eye is turned by many as the "cost of doing business" online. everyday the content is devalued a little more and as these types of sites grow in power selling our stolen content they be come stronger financially with money they made selling stolen stuff. fighting a court case is a lot easier when its done with stolen content revenue.
anyhow, i think i should just write something for avn or xbiz. maybe people would listen a little more if i took the time to really break it down for people. look at the big picture people. |

people can laugh and say the skys not falling all they want. web 2.0 is making it easier for any asshole to steal content and sell subscriptions to it. |
Everyone talks about "back in the day" how you could put up a simple banner and make good money. Simple reason, there was no free content out there.
I just really feel that people dont see it's the affiliate model that's under attack by sites like this. Sure content shooters/providers have lawsuits, but it's the AFFILIATES who are losing business right and left by things like this. |
there are tons of full videos on that site...
(enough free porn for me :D) |
Unfortunately, it's always the same people who always advertise on these sites too. I guess they feel that because their products aren't affected by content theft that it's okay but sooner or later karma is going to hit them like a brick wall.
|
Quote:
affiliates will be affected in a major way by all of this in the short to long term. i dont see these stolen content sites paying out any checks. affiliates and sponsor programs are the ones in danger. only the thieves win. people need to remember that. |

Yeah of course. Back 7 or 10 yrs, there was uproar from free site builders about these new "tgp" sites. They were upset because the tgp's were linking direct to their free site gallery pages, bypassing 2 ad pages. People used to block them with htaccess!!
So it is not a stretch at all to think that one day the ripper sites will charge for ad spots, and charge to permit sponsors to upload watermarked clips, lol. I mean for real. |
I've dealt with these guys. They have removed content for us without any hassle. As long as you are civil and unthreatening, they are good at removing content.
I believe I read somewhere they are tied into the Pirate Bay. In fact, PureTNA.com (bit torrent community) is also owned by them. |

if anyone is sitting on their hands now thinking that these types of sites are not going to affect you more and more as time goes along, you are sadly mistaken. we need to start a theft defense fund and get money from all the programs out there that shoot content to go after these assholes. i got the perfect legal counsel. the guys a pitbull and he will eat these mothers. as for the ones out of the country, well, there are ways to deal with them too. fight for your stake in adult or lose it people. or the surfer will decide for you. hmmmmn, lets see 9.95 for all access to everyones shit or 34.95 access to just one programs stuff. anyone see that decision being made in the surfers head? i don't want to bet they'd go with the 34.95 when other options are available. do you? :2 cents: |
Quote:
does anyone think for a minute that they are not using tons and tons of stolen shit in the first place to establish perceived value in the mind of the surfer to join this site? of course they know they're using stolen shit to make money. fuck them. they are knowingly profiting from the intellectual property of others. those familiar and up on intellectual property law know this kind of thing is blatant theft. there is no "we're sorry, we'll remove it". the stuff shouldn't be there in the first place. they know full well that they are fucking the people who shot it. |
Airek.. there's a lot of support for these sites on GFY.

i'm almost done martyring issues for this industry. sometimes its like trying to teach a bunch of special ed kids calculus. eventually i will give up and just protect the people who pay me to watch over there stuff. :2 cents::thumbsup |
Ouch that's a lot of free stuff...
|
keep in mind that there are even SPONSORS that support these kinds of sites.
in one recent case i talked to a sponsor and was told straight to my face to back off that the site sends him tons of joins. go figure. thats the shitty part. |
its pretty crazy what people are getting away with at the moment.

Also, some of you may want to consider learning more about GAPA (Global Anti Piracy Agency) I'd provide the link but I don't have enough posts yet ... I would personally love to see an organization like this take off and do well in the fight against piracy / theft in our business. |

didn't mean to come off condescending, i was just elaborating.) |

www.tnaflix.com is fucked up!
They have tons of full episodes and are encouraging their users to upload them and then selling memberships... We love it when our 1 min promos are put on public sites. We go after anyone that has our full episodes, with a quickness. Thanks DJ A1R3K for the heads up. Sponsors, check this site for your content. |
as long as people come into a thread like this and make jokes, even an article in avn wont do any good. They dont think that this is going to hurt their money.
|
I have spoken to Caryn Goldberg and she's looking to see more webmasters help support this cause. There is a recent article on Xbiz about GAPA (maybe A1r3k can share that for me as well).

No prob. Glad to see others feel as strongly about the subject as I do.

That Sucks. Shut them Down .

PureTNA is full of craploads of siterips and full dvd torrents.
They run sexbankroll, cecash & fleshlight ads on there. Fleshlight has said a few times on GFY that they'd have them pull the ads, never happened. |

thanks. |

What has caused you to do so? Was it because someone stole content from shanesworld? Im just curious, because it seems that nobody cares about content theft unless its happening to them. Does this look like anyone cares? http://www.gfy.com/fucking-around-and-business-discussion/750709-legal-shit-stupid-sob.html Im with you 100%, but most people have their priorities in the wrong place. |

there is no one that can stand up and say that this kind of thing is 1) not easier to do than ever 2) condoned by the lack of enthusiasm to end it 3) not going to hurt affiliates hard 4) not going to hurt sponsor programs hard there is no argument to be made on the opposing side that its helping out any of us. so, why isn't the industry doing something about it? i can tell you. ME ME ME thats why. let someone else deal with it attitude. there isn't and never will be unification in this industry. many don't know how close the .XXX thing really could have been, and the close call thait it actually was. how many that are big in the biz tried to throw all of us under the bus in one fail swoop. ME ME ME lets all remember that. :2 cents: |

Now, lets get back to the important stuff. Illegal and unethical bullshit is swallowing this industry. Dude, I just think people don't care anymore. |
Quote:
people can think all they want that content theft wont devalue the entire industry until the fulcrum sways the thiefs above the ones who made the content. at that point it will be too late. something like this is like cancer and must be stopped before it spreads to far. there comes a point where the cancer will just win no matter what the treatment is. it must be killed at this level of the game. i agree with you that many dont care or aren't smart enough to see what's coming. |
I'm seeing a FLING ad on there. :(

In regards to companies like Fleshlight, and Fling, and other non-porn companies advertising on torrent/pirate sites, I'm afraid that hoping, praying, asking, and posturing will do no good.
As it has been stated many times before, these are companies that cannot have their content stolen by a torrent site. You cannot pirate a super-ribbed Pink Lady. As far as they are concerned it's another source of traffic and therefore another source of customers. I'm always shocked at these contradicting messages that I see on this board... "it's all about business, so make that money" vs. "let's try not to be money grabbing flesh peddlers, and put your morals at the forefront". It appears that the former is winning out over the latter, and dating/cams/product companies have nothing to wake up to except another pile of cash. When we chip away all the bullshit, the remaining moral of every story (at least so far) is that "money talks". If you want to produce change, if you want to send a message, if you want to get something done, then you create a financial impact. Stop promoting these people who advertise and fund torrent/pirate sites. Take money out of their pockets. Show them that it isn't fiscally viable to have their cake and eat it too. I'm quite sure, though, this will never happen because to make a large enough dent would require a unifying force. It would require a sum total of individual sacrifices, and I'm quite skeptical that many would be willing to sacrifice some of their income for a cause. Certainly not just affiliates, paysite owners as well. A question for you, Airek... do you offer upsells in your paysites? Does one of them happen to be Fleshlight, or Fling, or AFF, or any other company that has been shown to repeatedly and consistently fund torrent/piracy sites by advertising on them? If so, would you be willing to cease offering them as an upsell, even if you could not find a suitable alternative and lose that chunk of income altogether? Would you do this, not only knowing you'd lose money, but also knowing that you may alienate these people since I'm sure you have some personal contact with them? And would you urge your friends and fellow paysite owners to do the same, ask them to make the same sacrifices? These companies are, after all, profiting from you and your compatrots twice over... the content in your site, and the content stolen from it, while only paying you once. This is purely a rhetorical question that you don't need to answer, but one that I propose for the sake of furthering the discussion. And people on this board do give a shit about this. The vocal few are usually berated, or ignored, or chastised for beating a dead horse. "Oh look, it's Will76 again, booooring." It always becomes more provacative and interesting when it lands on your doorstep :2 cents: |
