Just watching "At close range" (1986)

So far it looks like a good old school movie with an actual plot and real acting, Sean Penn and Christopher Walken in a duel.

That's a good movie. :)

Yeah I liked it, couple other young mid 80's fellas like Kiefer Sutherland or Chris Penn in that movie too.

It's just like that as far as Christopher Walken plays a psycho in most of his roles with quite similar manner so you kind of predict too much.

I still regard Cronenberg's "Dead Zone" as his ultimate role.

At Close Range was uncomfortable for me to watch for reasons that don't belong on gfy. :) But it struck such an emotional chord with me that I've barely been able to watch anything that has Christopher Walken in it since.

Yeah I have the same problem, some topics are since certain events a bit painful for me to watch.

Anyway I gladly enjoy every movie that still builds on a few great actors and a storyline.

Take 12 angry man for example - all it takes is 12 great actors, one room, a strong idea of a story, a director that has a vision and knows how to go for it, and a great movie is made.
