Just watching "At close range" (1986)

So far it looks like a good old school movie with an actual plot and real acting, Sean Penn and Christopher Walken in a duel.

Yeah I liked it, couple other young mid 80's fellas like Kiefer Sutherland or Chris Penn in that movie too.

It's just like that as far as Christopher Walken plays a psycho in most of his roles with quite similar manner so you kind of predict too much.

I still regard Cronenberg's "Dead Zone" as his ultimate role.

At Close Range was uncomfortable for me to watch for reasons that don't belong on gfy. But it struck such an emotional chord with me that I've barely been able to watch anything that has Christopher Walken in it since.

Yeah I have the same problem, some topics are since certain events a bit painful for me to watch.

Anyway I gladly enjoy every movie that still builds on a few great actors and a storyline.

Take 12 angry man for example - all it takes is 12 great actors, one room, a strong idea of a story, a director that has a vision and knows how to go for it, and a great movie is made.
