I am going to the gym tommorrow after 20 years of NO sports

After eating bad and drinking too much in Vegas, I decided it was time to go to the gym, loose some weight & try to quit smoking again.
So I get my first test to see what my condition is....:1orglaugh and where the instructors will base my training on for 2 or 3 times a week.
Who's got a reliable defibrillator for sale ? :pimp

(No this was NOT because Aaliyah Love told me something in French in the Elevator on the way up to the AWE party in the Hugh Heffner Suite in Vegas last week)

What type of flowers should we send your family after you go to the gym?

PSSuperstars 01-17-2009 01:07 PM

Good luck!
Don't be a jackass and try to do too much... don't go in the morning because there will be a ton of MILFs and you'll feel like you need to over perform...

WarChild 01-17-2009 01:09 PM

Excellent idea. Your whole world is about to change and for the much better too.

You're goign to sleep deeper and better and wake up feeling more rested. You're going to get sick less often and generally feel much better.

Sounds like you're working with a trainer and this is the very best thing you can do. You probably have to be taught not only what routines to do, but how to actually do each exercise properly. I know after 10 years of going to the gym on and off myself, a trainer was able to teach me all kinds of little nuanaces I never knew about proper form and what not.

Good luck!

A trainer is also good therapy.. if you get one you can relate to.
I cancelled my trainer until after taxes to save cash.... and hubby wishes I'd get her back, yo. I've been psycho since not having the hard workouts.

You will become addicted ;) Just remember, only like the first week will be a bad hurt..

then after that.. you'll get addicted to knowing you worked out hard enough to be that sore.

papill0n 01-17-2009 01:12 PM

What warchild said - avoiding injury is important so do shit properly and ease back into it slowly.

Ethersync 01-17-2009 01:16 PM

good luck

LoveSandra 01-17-2009 01:21 PM

Be smart and get some weed and fuck the gym.Only brainless people chose sports.

notime 01-18-2009 07:06 AM

All my muscles hurt but it feels quite good actually.
Hot MILFs indeed there at the gym :)
I will go like 3 times a week I think

andy83 01-18-2009 07:25 AM

good luck and take it slwo for the first few sessions!

kektex 01-18-2009 07:48 AM

Like everyone else said, take it slow.
I started going to the gym sometime last year and after the first two sessions I couldn't move my arms for a week from the pain.

notime 01-18-2009 12:57 PM

Thanks for the advise guys. Slow it is then! (more time to check out hot MILFs...)

sue 01-18-2009 02:36 PM

Dont over do it at first! Take it very, very slow and work your way up.

*hugs and kisses*

notime 01-26-2009 02:41 PM

All you guys were absolutely right and I was glad I listened to your well ment advise after goin gto the gym for 4 times the last 8 days:

Take it slow (gfy wisdom)
It's addictive (..can't explain this one yet)
Get good proper advice from trainers (they know shit I don't)
Don't show off (muscle aches punish you...)
Avoid injuries (I am a smart guy)
I sleep better (tired of workout, not stress from working 24/7)
I feel better (more energy somehow)
Do exercises properly (that why trainers went to school for)
and ...hot MILFS (like 70% of the people there)

CaptainHowdy 01-26-2009 03:00 PM

That's going to hurt... :)!

Violetta 01-26-2009 04:27 PM

I did the same thing Doctor told me to shape up or ship out. I hired a nutritionist and a trainer the first month was hell on earth.

Thats reaaly good for you..Congrats on the decision!

GTS Mark 01-27-2009 09:41 AM

Just make sure you take it easy the first couple of weeks, you're going to be hurting.

The ongoing reality is that if you keep up your workouts you will always be hurting LOL! I know I always am haha :)

Best of luck though dude!

vidvicious 01-28-2009 07:23 PM

take it slow.. it will come together all on it's own. follow your trainer, keep a good Diet and you'll enjoy the changes everytime you pass by a mirror.

I myself just got back to the gym after a 20 year absence, it's been 3 months now and I feel great, Got a little sick last week, but the cold never really materialised itself, it just disappeared after a couple of days of lingering .. so like it was said earlier . lots of things change ... even the level and quality of the women you attrack .. I've never fucked so many fit women in my life .. enjoy your new lifestyle
