Poll: U.S. Wants More Health Reform, Not Less
The poll found that about four in 10 adults think the new law did not go far enough to change the health care system, regardless of whether they support the law, oppose it or remain neutral. On the other side, about one in five say they oppose the law because they think the federal government should not be involved in health care at all.

Well... many of us here knew it was wanted, to an extreme. Just before Obama was elected, the polls for healthcare reform, addition, gov/social, all of them was off the chart in favor. It was only after the smear campaign started that the approval dropped, but once people started to learn/realize that getting your foot in the door is better than the door being locked on you.. it started to change back.
America WANTS this and a minority of people are attempting to botch it up. If the Republicans truly try to fight this, it will be the single thing that bites them in the ass. |

Also, LOL@smear campaign. The lengths stupid liberals will go to, to convince themselves of something is priceless. |
Also, if the Bush tax cuts for the rich created jobs, we'd all have jobs out the wazoo right now.
Maybe the first 10 years was just a slump. |

And without question the right started a smear campaign, you can call it fear mongering if you like, others call it a smear campaign. It's not like smear campaigns are a new strategy for the Republicans, so you can stop pretending like it hasn't happened. Yep, we can find polls in all directions (it's not hard to slant a poll) but what you can't ignore even in those polls is they're close. So even if we took your theory as true, still half the damn Country wants it. But the reality is, the majority want it... that is without question and if the Republicans 'attempt' to take it away, it will be the largest backfire they've ever had. |
the u.s. government couldn't legislate itself out of a paper bag, why would anyone think they could write viable healthcare legislation.

And it wasn't the smear campaign that was the failure of Obamacare, it was the stupidity of the democrats trying to shove this down our throat. Morons like Pelosi are ruining the Democrats' chances this November. Quote:

If you think the healthcare will win you midterms.... HAHAHA. Son nothing surprising is going to happen with the midterm, everyone that will flip was already expected to flip. And not a damn one of them is flipping because of Obamacare. Only a complete idiot would think that. |
I am all for a smaller govt but I have no issue with healthcare being nationalized. I bet if you polled more people and asked them, "would you like healthcare provided for by the govt, at no additional cost to you, would you approve that?" more than 4/10 would say yes.
Obamacare, as it is, will not work. There are something like 15 states already suing the govt over it. I do not think repealing it in its entirety is a good thing either. Keeps the good parts (no caps on insurance policy, no denial of insurance for a pre-existing conditions, etc.) until we can figure out how to do nationalized healthcare correctly. Invite the top experts from each country that has nationalized healthcare to come to a summit and pick their brains - what works, what doesn't and if you could redo national healthcare what would you change? Lets do it and do it right! |

But you can keep trying to twist it to your own stupidity all you want, I really don't care. Quote:
But that doesn't mean my costs, my yearly costs, are going to be more if I went with Obamacare vs. my own. Quote:

Please, someone explain to me how anyone can stand behind a healthcare law that's 2300 pages long and no one that voted for it read it? A law that had no support from the GOP and only had support from the democrats if they got to put their pork spending on it?

I said Obamacare wouldn't cost more than 'CURRENT' healthcare... and it won't. If you want to say, adding Obamacare will add to the cost - that would be correct. Out side of that, I've never seen a report say Obamacare will cost more than all healthcare - is that you're trying to say? Are you really going to attempt to confuse that? Quote:

P.S. Way to use the quote function champ.:thumbsup[/QUOTE] Working great here, moron... and what a lame expected attack. Got nothing, come back with stupid quote statements and a picture. Slam dunk, and the Dems (errrr Liberals, ie: real Americans) to the lead and win the game! |

Hehe, pork... is that the pork that some States get more money in other areas that other states? Not exactly pork, but hey we can name it whatever. The GoP would never support a healthcare bill/reform, change, etc. They pretend like they would, but the reality is they would never support it either way. |

That still doesn't change the fact that the right/republicans "now" have a problem with it, and not back then. |
