It would also be the right move and a show of a real commitment to turning your company around if you deleted all of his files, all 2353 of them. If he is banned for uploading videos he does not hold the copyright to, all of his videos should be deleted as well, as we both know he doesn't hold the copyright to them either. And by the way, I am only on page 12 of his videos when I found the last 4 of mine. Only 87 more pages of illegally uploaded videos to go! How many more of mine do you think are in there? There are plenty of tubes where users upload videos themselves. Especially that one's that then allow the users to hot link, or embed, the video on to forums. You are essentially hosting it for them so they can share and get their high fives, hence they repeat this process daily. It's not mystery science theatre.
Sometimes I wonder if a large number of people that post on this forum have a collective clue about surfer behavior. To keep insisting that 'ALL' tubes are not user uploaded and done by the owner(s) is wrong, and completely asinine. It is no wonder that this industry is in trouble. :2 cents: |

Let's be honest if Fabian or any of the big tube owners actually cared about copyright infringement they would make sure the user uploading the content has the rights to it before the content goes live.
It's as simple as that, get a producer account and be allowed to upload. Until a tube owner does that then they are just allowing other to steal and upload content. Unless it goes to court and there is a warrant for up loader IP's there is no way to tell who is uploading the content, so if Fabian or any other tube owner wants to prove they give a shit about theft they will kill all user uploads and only allow pre-approved submitters. Fabian seems dead set on making things right over there, let's see how he moves the company forward. |

DWB, as I said in the other thread. We ban the user currently. And ban things like email address to prevent the user signing up again. We do not, as far as I know, remove all content, actually, under DMCA law that might be a problem... but that is something I need to find out for sure, but did not have the time yet.
