You are right, but in this case, earning potential was never exploited properly. I was busy with other things in my life, so my experience is not much relevant for the future owner.

Monthly earnings ranged from zero up to couple of thousands. The website wasn't built with profit in mind and there was never a serious effort in monetization. When a certain quantity and quality of traffic was reached, people started approaching me and asking if they can put their banners on my site. It's still working that way and I never promoted my services anywhere.

I know u try to sell, but u cant compare it like that imo.
Anyway I would like to have more infos. Hard to estimate a price without seeing the website.
Also what are the running costs?

You'd have to monetize it and find out. For all we know its all worthless bot traffic. CloudFlare helps, but still a lot of bots get through.

I'm not eager to sell, not at all really. As you can see from my first post, just wanted to see what fellow webmasters think about value of a domain like this one.

Why not compare like that? If you perceive Google Ads traffic of $50k/month as expensive, then maybe you should complain to Google. That's their price, not mine. Of course, you and I would never pay such a ridiculous amount, but that's the price.

Not sure what you are talking about, but website/traffic is monetizing decently, even with no activity or promotion on my side.

Google Ads know very well what kind of traffic and how much of it has been sent from Google SE. They would charge $50k/month for such quantity & quality. Bots or humans, that's the price. It is take it or leave it situation, no bargaining with Google. Anyway, I am pretty sure that is a very accurate traffic value estimation, from Google's point of view.

BTW, not sure if blocking bots is a clever idea, but you are free to do whatever you want with your websites... Good luck with that and cheers!

Traffic from google ads is highly targetted...if you spent $50k on google ads, you better make $100k+ back. Does your website make any money every month? Thats how we can determine its worth.

What unrealistic valuations? If you read my previous posts, you will see that i am ASKING others for evaluation. To be honest, domain and traffic are doing exceptionally well and monetizing much better then I have represented here. I intentionally skipped a few benefits, because I want to get low balls and eventually build the price up from there, similarly to auctions. Anyway, have to repeat once again, I'm not eager to sell, just wanted to get some offers.

You didn't share the actual website / domain name. So I simply put a generalization. Some websites I have on CloudFlare get significant requests, but they don't really do anything.

I understand, but honestly, I don't care much what they do on my sites. Some of them may actually do useful things, so rather would not ban them.
