Yeah, I could let them expire. It's just hard to part with domains you have been nourishing for 3 years believing you'd make use of them. Renewal fees cost money every year and if you keep paying it for a few years, then it comes a bit hard to just let it go like that. $10 bucks is less than what those domains cost me in renewal fees overtime, but hell... I've got over100 domains I don't have time for. Need to unload some of it.
