Can I Steal from your Design Portfolio??

Hello,

1:st of all i must say that i love your design!!!

I am putting my own site online 050420 and have done some designs for my
portfolio.

I have done a couple of reality and one of those is an exact copy
of one of your header!

My question is...Is it ok. if i put that in my portfolio!

I can say that i would not been glad if someone did an copy of something i
have done, so that is why i ask you first!

I don´t want to get in trouble before i even started! ;-)
If it is ok. i will use only the header, the episodes will be "my own work"!

If you say no i will just put it in my trashes!!

Please let me know!!

I guess it´s ok. to use the "instant access"-text? Please tell me if someone has the copyright on that line!!

I have to agree with ya there.

I'm sure he didn't mean any harm by it though. He didn't sell that design, as far as I know, so he's not profiting from the design; he just wanted to showcase his talents - which of course, aren't 100% his talents if he copied a layout... alwell. At least you can keep an eye on the guy now, if he told you his design site name.

Oh, and I'm sure a lot of people do copy WebInc's work, because it's good.

I wouldn't be happy that was done to me. It seems like many designers just copy instead of creating original work.
