I agree with the latter statement, but really, what were they supposed to do? The could have hurt her worse trying to drag her out. It's not like this was a five year old, she was an adult breaking the law, and she was clearly warned that she was about to be tased at least 4 times. I'm majority against any abuse of force by any police department, but in this case, it seems justified to me.

Although, they do really seem to be conditioning the American public to accept government officers tasing anyone for any reason, at any time.

Cops don't have that luxury, who knew if the women was perhaps suicidal and had a gun in her car, if they recognize that she has issues then its even more important for them to subdue her as soon as possible because obviously she was agitated and not calm.

If you were a cop for a few yrs you would understand, they don't have the luxury of "talking the situation out"- they aren't therapists.

Yes, cops are assholes. But knowing that, people need to figure out how to fucking listen. When they tell you to do something you either do it or risk consequences. How hard could it be to just put her fucking phone down when he told her to?
