We need help creating a logo for a simple, short domain with instant name recognition!

We are looking for a classic branding concept along the lines of HUSTLER, PENTHOUSE, PLAYBOY, etc. Our first thoughts are nothing photoshop'd out- we're not selling hardware either so think above the standard screw/screwdriver clip art concepts. Bold, strong, yet different!

I'm just saying - with all the bogus logo contests here, it's worth asking if anyone can vouch for him. So yea, postcount matters if someone registers, no one knows them and they put up a contest before ever having a history on the boards.

UGH! I fucked up big time! When I read the logo description, I thought he said, "so try to think ABOUT the standard screw/screwdrivers clipart concept" instead of what he really said, "so try to think ABOVE the standard screw/screwdrivers clipart concept"...

so I thought to myself, "Fuck that, I'm gonna make something better than boring ass clipart"... so i spent all this time making a custom screw .

here's what i came up with:








then after I completed all of those, I realized I fucked up... so I made a quicky adjustment :\



oh well. at least it's something new to add to the portfolio hehe.

remove the threads from the screw and just have the circle part. i like that design.

Great work so far...We were looking for mainly text-based logos, not just symbols...most entries so far seemed to have caught on to that concept well. I'm thinking we'll make the deadline 12 midnight Wednesday night 9/28...so keep them coming!

I honestly think it's a hard variation of the word 'fuck' to make a logo for; for a porn site anyway.

You're offering a much better prize than most others...

Maybe giving some ideas of very basics.. like feel and style you'd like to see..
