I've had my customers inform me how you've contacted them and offered them MPA for free if they'd move to NATS and they've refused you, so I don't see how that equates to leaving the market to us.

While I'm here, why do you limit which processors someone can work with on your new product? Please give all of the reasons, not just the excuse that it makes things easier.

A software company should not be limiting who their clients can or can't do business with. Its a very bad move on your part and just a bit of advice for you.

Calling things which are not "typical insults" is certainly easier than replying to them. They're not insults. Saying they are insults is more insulting than my statements were.

1. Good job digging up old threads posted by people who are not involved with the company any more, but that is not what I'm referring to. I'm referring to you approaching larger customers at shows and letting them know if they'll move to MPA3 you'll do it for free.

Closer and Woj - Let me clarify these things for you as sites are being modified as we speak to make it easier to understand.

There are three (3) editions of MPA3® editions. MPA3® Standard ** MPA3® PRO ** MPA3® ENTERPRISE

MPA3® PRO and MPA3® ENTERPRISE are the SAME, the only difference is the pricing schedule. One is a LICENSE TO RENT and the other is BUY OUTRIGHT LICENSE. Both of these versions are the same as the MPA3® you have known for years. They are both CUSTOMIZABLE and have a vast array of payment platforms.

MPA3® Standard works the same way and have the same set of features as the PRO and Enterprise, but clients using Standard cannot get their own individual customizations and there are fewer (but a very good lineup) payment platforms. This edition has an installer for easy to do upgrades and updates for all clients.

The MPA3® Standard is priced at $499 for initial license fee and then FLAT $99 per month that does NOT go up when you grow.

Closer, nice chop! Pretty good actually!! I get your sarcasm ;) – but let me clarify, again, what the MPA3 Standard will mean for you and the ones using it.

We do NOT limit anyone with anything. We have now 3 editions of MPA3. Two of them have basically every processor and payment platforms that is out there. These are the two editions of MPA3 that have always been there. Now called PRO and ENTERPRISE.

To support all these processors and payment platforms, and having a lot of customers who all have their own little customizations in the MPA3, require a lot of support and extra work for our programming team.

Now we have come out with a new setup that you can choose to get if you like to. But here we do not have all the different processors and payment platforms, and you cannot have your own little customizations. This makes it easier for us when we are doing updates and upgrades of the program for everyone.

This is the reason why we can rent the standard out for only $99 a month.

Now if you want to have a processor that is not in the Standard version, then go for the pro version that is the same as it always has been.

I thought it was normal to have different versions of a program available for the different needs companies might have - kind of like SYMANTEC who has “For Home, for Business, Small business, Midsize business, Enterprise solutions and so on…… ) This is ABSOLUTELY NORMAL and we are doing it to give YOU more choices for your business. What is the expense of adding additional processors, assuming we're talking about merchant - not just a simple single shot pass/fail?

What sort of 'customizations' are requested that can't be easily templated? I know I asked for some when working with Ross on an MAS install back in 2007, is this similar?

You can not add additional processors to the Standard. There are several to choose from already, it has it all, credit card processors, check processors, phone billing processors and alternative billing. So it is more then enough processors to choose from already.

How ever, the Pro you can add processors too. But the pro version must soon have every possible payment platform there is already integrated
But if you find one that is not, then we will look at that processors API and give you a price based on this.

Not sure I understand the questions about customizations that cant easily be templated? But in the standard version you can not get any customizations done. You can of course have your own signup and webmaster templates and change the way this look. But you cant have other customizations done.
But again, the mpa3 ( Standard, Pro and Enterprise ) are huge programs with A LOT of features in them already, so you will need a pretty good imagination to come up with something that is already not there
