Where do you find your models?
Just wanted to hear different thoughts on how you recruit for models. Pay scale? Any input is appreciated

I hear print advertising still does pretty well for attracting models. Depends on where you are in the world?

Agencies, Onemodelplace, cragislist, model mayhem. Myspace used to be good as well but seems like everyone is abandoning it.

I tried to upload an article I wrote from another website. It was to long and couldn't be uploaded. I have to recruit about 99% of my models off the street since I live in such a rural area. I hope this is OK to do but here goes. Moderators just delete this if it's not kosher. Article can be found at adultresources.net. Go to photography then click the article "finding girls for nude photography". Let me know what you think good or bad.

Thanks to everyone who answered. Gary, I checked out your article and it was most informative!
Since I am only looking for remote work (e.g. girl can work from home)..I am thinking about approaching models on webcam sites. I will contact only the ones that are working in western countries..as I've noticed many of the ones that work in Eastern Europe/South America/etc seem to work from studios and may not have the flexibility to do what I want them to. I will update this post to say how it goes. |

Well done Gary - everything you say makes perfect sense. Even though I'm mostly a webmaster, a few local MFC girls get me to shoot their pics (for sale to their fans) and their videos. I always have my wife with me and a partner or friend supplied by the model to help out as PA. Because I'm now well known, I get a semi-constant stream of MFC girls and strippers..... the best bit is they pay me!
