ARYLIA gallery builder help

I'm using arylia 2.13, and have just installed it on a new site I'm setting up. I tried testing it out by making a gallery from a zip of images stored on my hard drive, but got this error message on a page after a few seconds:

Name was left empty or php failed to create /www/virtual/roraz/mysitedomain/galleries/2011/2/roxanne-pallet-test. Pick a name or check your configuration!

I checked the Arylia forum for anything similar and found someone who had the same issue a while back, and apparently the issue was the permissions of the gallery folder.

I've checked in my ftp client and it says my galleries and banners folders are both 0777 writable (even made the parent folder completely writable) - is there something I'm missing that could be causing the error?

I have posted this on the arylia forum but no replies as yet, plus Ive emailed the Arylia guy, but its been days without a reply, and I really need to get this script working - so was hoping someone on here had maybe encountered this issue and had some advice?!

edit: the bit in the error message above where it says mysitedomain, it was actually my site url but the gfy forum won't allow me to post url's apparently

Been dealing with the tech support at Webair (who have been great) and they say there are no errors being generated by php and apache server side when trying to use the script, and that folder permissions and ownerships are what they should be for this.

Their conclusion is that its something to do with the script, which i have to agree with as I'm also running wordpress on the same site, and that can create folders and files when uploading using it!?

Anybody have any ideas??

Got it working finally!

Apparently the "mkdir" executable wasn't contained in any of the
directories my host had allowed to be executed in safe mode.

Thanks to kryptx and the very patient guys at Webair (my hosts)!
