What is the best format for offering video content? WMV? MP4? FLV? Why are certain formats better than others?

The best idea if you have a paysite its upload all the options for your members....i use elevatedx and they make the life more easy with a transcode

mp4 is probably the best bet. Remember that Flash won't work on the iPad...
