Wordpress Gallery Shortcodes
I purchased a wordpress theme and the author left out the built-in Wordpress gallery function, his support answer was that he doesn't know PHP enough to add it and he recommended a plugin like nextgen which I'm using now but don't like.
When I add the shortcode [ gallery ] in a post it just comes up blank, but if I switch themes the gallery comes up fine. Anyone familiar enough with themes to help me out? |

you might have to use [nggallery=1] and 2, 3 and so forth. That is the code for Next Gen gallery...let me knwo if that helps ya.

No, I can get nextgen to work fine, I can't get the built-in gallery system to work, though. Using nextgen is not ideal for my purposes since it adds more steps to my workflow.
