I am new to the industry, and am attempting to get some traffic to my site. I noticed one user mention plugrush which seems to be a very simple way to trade traffic, but what the fuck is a Plug?

What is PR, In and Out?

Do I have to confirm that I am receiving quality exchanges while also making sure that what is leaving my site is counted or is there a widget for all of this?

PR are the note give from google to your website . If you have PR 0 you can find trade with websites with pr 0 . Is the best method to make backlinks.

Just get your own traffic and don't even bother with Linkspun or Plugrush.

I'm feeling a little bit generous with info today... so...

PlugRush is a powerful and super-simple way to trade traffic that usually yields me well over 1000% return on my sent traffic (great right?). You submit plugs and then embed a little widget with other peoples plugs onto your site.

Ok.. so a plug is simply a link to a video on your site usually in the form of a jpeg image with a description. Tags are often included as well. With PlugRush, you can simply upload the jpeg to your video, add your link, a description and some tags. Your plug will go into their system and the jpeg link to your video page will be displayed on other webmasters widgets across the web. They've greatly simplified an arduous task of plug/traffic trading with other webmasters.

Linkspun on the other hand is for trading links. Links to your site boost your Page Ranking (PR) in the eyes of google and the other search engines. Linkspun is another powerful and simple tool designed to streamline the process of reciprocal link trading among webmasters for the purposes of Search Engine Optimazation (SEO). The way I and most other webmasters utilize Linkspun is by leveraging multiple low priority pages/blogs to trade links out to other webmasters and then have them point their links to my high priority pages. This boosts search engine ranking and should eventually bring in more viewers from search results.

After 3 months I am getting 200 visits a day. Traffic is almost exclusively with Google, Bing and Yahoo. I have tried a dozen things but get almost nothing for my effort. At this point a link exchange is another thing I am willing to try. I have tons of time but no money!

Sorry, I generated my first Plug, it was easier then I thought with the upload tool. Now I just need to wait for it to be approved, and find out how to recip.

Thumbnails can be any size above 120x90. The bigger the better. But remember, the thumbnail has to match the content on the page you are linking to. It has not continued. The traffic has dropped off and the plugs showing on my site are the same plugs every day. I need to submit a ticket, but I have a feeling they are working on it.
