Help getting things started - Newby Questions
Hello all,
My site is http://tmxporn.com/. I've built a lot of it myself, I use SmartThumbs as my main script. I was wondering if you guys could recommend a good traffic script, & maybe tell me what makes that one good? My site is a standard multi-niche TGP/MGP. (Yes I know, I probably should have focused on just one niche, especially for my 1st site. I do plan on building more sites in the future that are focused on one niche or category) It still needs a lot of work, & a lot more content. I'm signed up to many affiliate programs, and often sign up to more. So I'm not too worried about getting more content at the moment. I just need to get the ball rolling with traffic. A while back I read a (possibly outdated) guide to building a TGP site which said that I should start by investing around $500.00 into to buying a decent amount of traffic. Do any of you guys agree or disagree with that statement? Could you recommend good sites to buy traffic from? Also maybe take a quick look at my site and tell me if you have any recommendations. I don't want my 1st site to be too much like a CJ-TGP, but I do want to trade traffic sufficiently. Do you guys think I should keep a warning page as my landing page for the URL? Most TGP sites I see don't do it. I figure I can just have partners redirect to the next page tmxporn.com/main.html and be alright. I guess I'm just trying to cover my ass legally. Any help would be greatly appreciated!! ![]() So far the main traffic trade scripts I'm looking at are: arrowscripts crystal-scripts Followed by: scriptpulse tradeexpert The main traffic trading sites I'm looking at so far are: trafficholder juicyads Followed by: adulttraffictrade chokertraffic clicksagent |

Looks nice your site, great template, but the top menu is empty. For traffic I recommend plugrush, good for trading and selling. Good luck with your site, my site is as well the first adult site I made.

Yeah I need to add something to that menu. A big problem I have is that the site isn't very mobile friendly at all. I need to find/build a mobile friendly template and add it to a mobile sub-domain or something. Also I still need to work on some of the links in the footer. Beyond that I'm just wondering if my current hosting plan will be able to deal with large amounts of traffic. I'm on a VDS with godaddy. This is because I found it hard to install and properly run SmartThumbs with a shared hosting plan. Do you guys think it's a good idea to start with a $500.00 traffic budget? |

I think you are asking for trouble once you start pushing some traffic. Godaddy is a domain registrar and if you do some homework (check some previous threads), not the best option for hosting.
I would be happy to discuss your needs and see what M3Server can do for you.
