noob: PPL vs PPS payout?

Hey guys,

I'm new to the adult industry and I recently made a twist to one of my landing pages for an adult cam site refer program. I'm using youtube to pull in traffic as one of the methods and have been doing some tests for the last few days. I signed up the pay per lead and I want to know what is the difference between pay per lead and pay per signup?

So far my earnings have been $0 from around 50 unique visitors. I have youtube traffic visit my landing page, and my landing page have a clickable link to the actual cam site.

My question is, as long as a visitor clicks on the cam link and goes to the website, does that count as PPL? Or do they need to sign up an account first? Would that be considered pay per signup? I heard pay per signup requires a purchase.

Thanks

CPM - Cost per Thousand - Impressions (User sees single banner ad, 1 impression)

CPC/PPC - Pay per Click - User clicks banner ad

CPL/PPL - Pay per Lead - User on landing page submits email address to make free account

CPS/PPS - Pay per sale - User who just registered for free decides to purchase VIP upgrade for monthly $9.99, you get $x one time

RevShare - You get paid x% on every rebill of that $9.99

Hope that helps!

Now that definitions are out of the way..

PPL is useful when trying to get meaningful data from a lower volume campaign like PPV.

PPS is useful when you have data built up or have a budget to spend to get that data. You generally make more than PPL if your quality is up.

Revshare is useful for long term income.

thanks for the great info brentbacardi

i think cpm is cheap or maybe helpful when u have alot of people visit ur website or watch ads

RevShare need luck u dont know if the person will be loyal customer , but sometimes its can be like "chicken that lay golden eggs"

PPL is the best choice specially for beginners . good luck
