Pseudostreaming or RMTP

My websites software currently uses Progressive streaming but I want to change that and I see I have two more options, Pseudostreaming and RMTP. Which one is better and what are the pros and cons of each?

I'm trying to save some bandwidth by staying away from Progressive streaming.

Anything you can do to cut down bandwidth, improve the user experience, and offer better looking videos ( higher bit rate ) will help.

I've been through a few site conversations that went from progressive streaming to either RMTP, Adaptive or Smooth streaming, or any of more current steaming protocols.

I suggest even adding Wowza if you have the time and budget to set it up. However, keep in mind, your disk access may be increased and or your server resources need to be bumped up.

Take a look at this ..

If you go to our website you will see adaptive video streaming examples.
You don't see it but the back end code is adjusting the delivery speed to match what the end user is able to see. Netflix and Amazon uses that kind of delivery.
