Hotlinking Featured Image On Wordpress
Hey guys,
Got a bit of a problem and wondering if any of you have experienced and solved said problem. I am trying to hotlink my featured image on my wordpress posts. So instead of hosting the image on my server I want to link it to an image host - however, wordpress' featured image doesn't allow images, you can only upload locally. Has anyone found anyway around this? I've tried the Nelio plugin, but it doesn't seem to link off the website. It instead creates a featured image from the url you provide. Cheers for any suggestions in advance! |

Just got to ask, why?
Isn't running featured image from affiliate link about the same? if you set up with feature image generator plugin it adds FI to your media as well So what you trying to do? Eliminate media storage on site or something?
