Problems with Audio in videos

Hey all!
I'm trying to watermark some videos in Adobe Premiere and it says "Unsupported audio rate in file". Then I tried it in ULEAD VIDEO STUDIO...same thing. The audio Bit Rate is 128kbps...and the Audio Format is MPEG Layer-3.
Haha..all i wanted to do was just watermark some videos. Thats the funny thing!
Anyways, if someone can help me out I'd appreciate it.
