Hi guys,

Does anyone know of some software to use in order to keep an eye on backlinks?

Like if i do a hardlink trade with someone what program can I use in order to make sure they are keeping up with the trade without having to look by hand!

Hi version5,

Its a bit hard to keep automatically an eye on backlinks. Every webmaster has the posibiliy to display another things to bots. If using bots that have their own user agent and handle robots.txt correctly.

Such webpages can be checked with fake useragents sometimes to prove they display the same for bots and users.

If you like i can provide you a service for checking backlinks for free*. The only thing i would need would be a few days for some modifications.

*(Maybe you would like to do me a favor, if not i would see you as my personal beta tester for a link checker.)

Thunder-Ball.net - Exactly what you are looking for. TB keeps track of hardlink trades on the site. If some one who you have established a link trade with drops your link, you will be notified by email. It's a great system.

Linkex is ok, if you like installing unsecure 3rd party scripts on your sites.

does thunder-ball allow u to add ur own trades that u make outside of their site and they'll track those also?

- Signup for an account, post here and I post you an invitation code.
- Write me an eMail, with or without your ICQ Number (See signature).
