question regarding wordpress tag page

sorry, if this is going to sound confusing....

I have a blog where all the posts look fine, and they typically have one image in each post

if i go to sitename/tag/widgets it shows all the widgets posts fully, but it will not display any images

if i look into the source for the page, it is trying to pull images like this>

../wp-content/uploads/2009/10/image.gif and results in nothing

if i put sitename/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/image.gif into my browser it works and shows the images, so i just need to figure out where to change it from "../" and instead to show full url

I do not know which page in my theme I need to edit in order to change that.

thanks
