Anyone selling downloads of their own DVDs?
My DVD sales are slowing down and I'm wondering if it's realistic to think about selling full-movie downloads from my sites. I have most of my content up on Hotmovies and AEBN and I'm doing OK with those, but I'm not interested in doing their flat-rate Download-to-own deals - the prices are just too low.
Have we reached the point, with broadband and better compression, where it's realistic to think about setting myself up to sell DVD downloads myself? Anybody out there doing it? I'd love to hear about any experience any of you have had with this. How did you set it up; what are the pros and cons, etc. Al |
