First off, just want to say hello! This is my first post! But on this subject, my GF wanted to do this and it was hell! I am not the best at web design and stuff like that but I bought the hosting, domain name, built a working page which took me probably twice as long as it would take most of you (just needed to finish making it pretty), we shot about 10 photo sets of about 100-200 photos each and 4 HD 20 minute videos and I edited and uploaded it all. Then she complained its not making money before the sites even up and refused to do anything else. LOL!

Luckily I made her sign a contract at first that leaves me as sole owner of the material which I can now resell! Yay! So no matter how much you guys love each other whatever etc. make up some type of contract to protect both of your interests as I have heard of others having similar problems.

Girls who make money at this have been promoting themselves for years. Nobody made them a pornstar, they did that themselves and they make sure they are seen and being seen at all times. It is like any other business, you have to work hard to get to the point where what you have is of value.

A lot of young girls think pornstar work is easy money and they often think they are way hotter than they actually are. They have no idea that it is going to take a lot of photo and video sessions to get the material that has any value. It takes skilled work on the part of the photographer/videographer and the performers all working together. Even with skilled crew and performers it is still going to take a lot of work and time to get usable material.

Even with quality photos and videos, it takes a lot of promotion and time to make things work. This means the girls are working for free for the most part because the promotion takes money as does paying those who can make quality content. Everyone hopes that with enough promotion and time that the paysites start to attract subscribers and that DVD's along with other merchandise sells.

The Amateur pornstars in my area mostly make their money from cams. They have paysites and lots of photos and videos, but it is the cams that pays. The paysites are often managed by larger companies who they contracted with. They don't get any money from those companies but they do get the cam traffic so that is worth it to them.

Anyone who thinks adult work is easy money is just fooling themselves. It is like any other job, what you put in it is what you get out of it.
