Need some advice on getting started.
I'm a Web Development student and i am very interested in putting together an adult oriented site to try to make some money. The problem is, i am unsure about where to start and what kind of sites make money, I was gonna put together a small redirect site but with all the free adult content out there i am very unsure. Any help or advice would be very much appreciated.
Thanks. JerryRude |

For a start, try making a TGP.

Do you have a large amount of money to invest in a full-blown adult site? Do you have content, photographers, etc.? If not, I would suggest starting as an affiliate for large sites and promote their materials on a few handwritten blogs as LoveSandra suggested. This will teach you a great deal when it comes to dealing with people in this industry, SEO techniques, roughly the amount of work involved, etc.
If you're in a hurry you can simply start a WordPress blog and add a few helpful plugins, notably the popular SEO plugin. If you are not in a hurry, develop your own blog site from the ground up and build in features that will allow you to manage your blog efficiently and quickly. This will also provide you with greater control over layout, SEO implementation and optimisation. If you go this route, aim for generic development (keep variables in config, ensure XHTML is done in such a way that allows easy skinning, etc.) so you can duplicate your blog and create an entirely "new" site within a few minutes. |

You can spend 0$ if you use sponsor free hosting. Then you can get the content hosted without issue, and if you ask they might even buy a domain for you - that you find.

I'd start with a handwritten blog. It's really easy to do and you can get a feel for how to generate traffic before you jump into something that's going to require a big outlay of cash. Nothing is quite as good as experience so the sooner you get started the sooner you'll gain that experience. Don't bite off more than you can chew.
