g-mail, links and google SEO Question

Hi,

some time ago I read in some report that google bots scan g-mail accounts
according to the writer many don't believe this, but he experimented with it

well my question about it is, what if google also scans g-mail accounts for finding
link selling activity

like somebody saying please link to this domain with such and such anchor

how do you think this might put a risk to sites, when google will start doing this
if they haven't already started or would you think it is to far fetched

please respond if you are into seo

Thanks

and the thing is, what I see many who buy and sell links use g-mail, I started to use it recently but should actually switch away from a g service and if this is true it is best for all those traders to also not use those free accounts but rather from different provider of free mail,
It is like using lockers at the popo station to hide something from the popo
would be just a matter of time till they find out what you are using your locker for
imho

Dont be paranoid , there is no such a thing and even if google is scanning the account there is noting wrong with exchanging or looking for someone to put your link on his website as long you have related websites
