Happy to see Tebow getting tebagged and teabowned by a real QB. Now maybe all the weird fundie cultists will quiet down for a while, at least while they try to figure out what excuses they are going to use to explain why the suppposed chosen golden boy was abandoned by his imaginary friend that apparently loves him so much.

All the showy posing, tebowing, and genuflecting for the camera can't cover up the fact he's not even an average QB. If the Broncos had a REAL QB, they might have gone all the way this year. It was the rest of the team made Tebow look good, NOT the other way around.

Yep, when Denver wins its because of the rest of the team not Tebow and when the Denver defense gives up 42 points its Tebow's fault.

You have it backwards, according to the cultists when they win its all Tebow and when they lose its the rest of the team and the coaching, just like you're blaming the defense now. If Tebow could keep the offense on the field for more than 2 minutes a series the defense wouldnt have been worn out. Ever heard the term 'the best defense is a good offense'?

Tebow would make a great tight end.

.

The over under on completions for tebow was 11.5, he finished with 9.

By the same token its the job of the defense to keep the opponents offense off the field.

When the defense allows the opponents to score a TD on every possession the ONLY way to overcome that would be for their opponents defense to be equally as weak. New England's defense played better tonight than they have all season and Denver had no answer for that.

True, but it wouldnt have mattered if NE only scored 11 points, they still would have won.

They got completely fucked as pretty much everyone figured would happen.

i was a little suprised the broncos offense couldn't do more vs one of the leagues worst defenses. & the pass rush was dead. it might be reasonable to say last weeks emotional win left nothing in the tank for this one.

i hope somebody beats the patriots because i'm a new yorker whose totally fed up with all the titles Boston is winning, in all sports.

The way I see it Denver made a QB change after a dismal start of the season and turned it around to win the AFC West Championship and finish with a winning season.

They made it as far as they should've considering the level they were playing at. They weren't playing at the same level as GB or NE or the Saints so understandably its the end of the road.

Tebow outperformed the expectations of most and I believe he has room for improvement and the work ethic to gain it. He needs to perfect his spiral and learn to read the defense quicker with less hesitation in his decision making. Both of those can be conquered with good coaching, practice and gameplay experience. I believe he will accomplish it.

He certainly had the sports world buzzing and gave us a few very exciting games. Will he ever be a great QB. Time will tell and this year's performance shows he deserves the chance. While tonight's game was a very disappointing end to the Bronco's season, I'm sure the Broncos organization and the city of Denver are happy with their season and optimistic for next year knowing they have something to build on.

I imagine next year will be much worse for the Broncos. They revealed their magic trick and now everyone knows how it works, thus it will no longer be magic.

Yep, the coaching staff did an excellent job of implementing the option offense for tebow.
Now that the rest of the league has tape on it, I wouldn't expect it to be very successful next year.

I loved Dan Marino's halftime comment: "The only chance the Broncos have of winning is if Tom Brady plays as their quarterback in the second half."

Can't disagree with any of that. Well said.

I love how you included GB, NE and the Saints but left off the 49ers. Tells me they're still flying under people's radar, which is just fine by me. Ha :D

Well it wasn't on purpose :)

Coming from FL I don't think I got to watch the 49ers play on TV all season so they didn't have a chance to get on my radar.
