What we're seeing now is a president who wants to enforce the UN and other treaties against those weapons. We also see other openings and so he's not being an idiot and charging in anyway. it should just go down like this. i mean, come on, rather than this way right? at what point in time did the united states ever think these other countries such as turkey, israel, italy, ukraine, saudi arabia, china, russia, india, can't handle their own affairs in their own regions?

all of those countries have militaries even airforces and politicians who should have had the initiative and arguably responsibility, by using their diplomatic skills to throw a hell of a lot of water on this fire.

Our government has always...I repeat always...has done what it "perceives" to be in our best national interests (because our government is run by humans they make mistakes and always will)...just as all governments do. BTW...that is the job of our government...to act in what is for our best national interests...not what is in the best national interests of some other government/country.
