You don't seem to understand..

Wages are up 2.9%

Inflation is up 2.8%

People lucky enough to get a 2.9% raise are paying 2.8% more for gas, food, rent, etc.

If you weren't lucky enough to see a raise increase you are still paying 2.8% more for goods and services.

Do you understand now?

US Inflation Rate at Over 6-Year High

Also, the story you linked to was back in May. It's now July.

July 1st the tarriffs went into effect raising the price of thousands of imported goods by 25%

In August & September inflation reports will be higher as they will reflect the increases cost of goods starting this month.

Layoffs will begin around the holidays :(

Idiots were agreeing with chump during the campaign that the unemployment rate was fake news and really at 50%, now its the best unemployment rate ever. Chump made a 45% gain in the unemployment numbers in 18 months. Wow!

DynaTroll is DynaGullible.

so let's get this straight.

since trump did not accept official numbers during the campaign, now anti-trumpers can reject them too and that makes sense to them in spite of the numbers being good for them

got it.

I've never been a DT supporter or any from 2007 forward. The national debt is too high for any real future recovery. Then again, I for sure thought we'd never make it this far with this economy. That said, Ive always wanted a real business professional from the private sector to give it a go running the country. I truly believe DT will come out and tell us how truly fucked we are. Not because he's a professional business person, but a narcissist who does not have the ability to be self critical or own any of the blame. No narcissist does.

Under Trump the national debt has skyrocketed, and he started a trade war with our allies and hostile nations. Businesses don't like uncertainty so they stop expanding, hiring & increasing wages until things settle down. Businesses like stability.
