If no alternative was found so people can buy a months porno membership at $20 to $40 it would totally change the industry.

The dialer and 900 industry is based on a lot higher charges and it would mean surfers surfing for ten minutes and not two hours.

Even that would be very expensive. The emphasis on quality would go even lower than it is today. The need to retain would be non existant.

One of the biggest porn companies in the UK, went totally over to dialers because of the level of charge backs they weres suffering. This is because he sells a great tour and delivers crap behind it. He is making a fortune selling crap via dialers though.

Simple solution hard to do:

Sorry andi, 1 million is not really enough to form a platform outside of whats already there in the interchange system. The cost that you, as an issuer, would incur, in order to bring these merchants up to date on interchange software and hardware would take a few years of your profits in one swipe.
