As far as I can tell it is 2257 compliant.

They will also spider refering links and warn/ban you if they find forbidden words

They are quite strict but have always been fair

Hold on Venus. I have your program. It's on the front splash page of my site as well as spotlighted on inside and niche pages. I'll check my stats to see what it's done in the past year.

Another thing I've noticed is that ever since Andy from Sexswap stopped his newsletter there's been a DROP in affiliate signups.

Andy had the best newsletter on the fucking web. Bar NONE.

We have found that keeping sites fresh had always kept surfers (and therefore webmasters) happy. We add one new site a week to our programs & often redesign our tours (tested with our own traffic)

Please take a look at our sites.

We have ICQ and email support available to webmasters.

Just sign on up, and drop us a line.

We are also giving away after the first 25 sales, a FREE XBOX... and then after 125 Signups a FREE Mini IPOD. No tricks or hidden time lines... FREE FREE FREE.

As a webmaster with affiliate programmes this thread interested me...

It made me look at my affiliates stats and...

I went to the sites to see how they were promoting this one of mine. Most of them have tgp's with trading scripts. I can see why you send clicks and don't get sign up's...

If a surfer clicks to see one gallery it can take 5 attempts to get to the one he wants.. I just tested half a dozen out.. Most of the time I ended up at another tgp who the one I was at, was trading with...

Simple solution ... Run clean sites... Send surfers where they want to go and you may get more sales. I found that my best affiliates do this... In fact unlike all the tgp's with just a script link these have banners for the site.. This also helps...

This is the reason I don't allow my images to be used unless they only link to the site of mine they're promoting.. Why should the money I've spent on hiring models result in someone using the pic, that can end up sending the surfer to another site.. And making them a sale...

JoeA, just for that post I'll be signing up to your programs. You sound like the kind of webmaster and businessman who gets results.

I can't tell you how many times while testing TGPs to see if a surfer gets what they click for I end up in a CJ situation. That frustrates the surfer and don't do squat for signups. Some guys have partners and use scripts to make sure their partner's site gets a click but it's not a UNIQUE click, it's a bullshit click. That's lying to your partner far as I'm concerned. If a guy runs a clean TGP and the surfer gets what they see, then when the TGP recommends another site, that's going to be clicked because one good guy refers it.

Word of mouth the best advertising and making good on a promise the best retention.

JoeA 11-17-2004 06:18 AM

Thanks Geg..

How are the cartoon sites doing these days :) We've both been around long enough to know what to do. unfortunately the kids today just want to have a long lists of links, use a trading script and hope to make sales...

They aren't prepared to work a site properly. I have all my promotional galleries available to be downloaded in zip files to be used on affiliates own servers as well as using mine. I have a lot of the images and videos available to be downloaded, so the affiliate can make their own pages... Do they do it.. NO... BECAUSE MOST AFFILIATES ARE TOO DAMN LAZY !!!

So affiliates stop moaning about not making sales... What are you really doing to make any....

If you go to: www.indiamafia.com and scroll all they way down, you'll see why this site is one of my best Ravishing Indians affiliates.. They work it !!!!

Greg B 11-17-2004 07:27 AM

Hey JoeA!

Cartoon sites? By default they do awesome! You'ld really have to screw things up not to get a toon site to make money. Especially if you do your own content like me. I don't buy or lease content. Too risky.

I do this part-part-part time but I make more than most guys with 20 sites.

As for what you said about laziness, I agree. All of us can be lazy at times but some guys go for the cheap steal and then when the house of cards falls in they wanna run away having screwed up a good business model and exchange engineering.

That's what's happening today. Old timers who can't cut it anymore and fall for the cheap steal and new bloods listening to the old farts telling them that it's okay. Then the new bloods get busted and who gets the reward? The old fart who lead them on and ratted em' out when the heat was on.

Every gallery text link I clicked on at that site gave me either a "page cannot be displayed" message or went to a trade.

As well, all clicks on the thumbs between the toplists sent me to other tgps.

One guy from the Netherlands said the translation was so funny they ran it on tv there one day.

Problem with international traffic is they're getting smarter. They block some sites and allow others.

we geo target all of your international traffic to direct it to the correct language and billing option for that traffic.

we have 5 different billing options which allows us better conversions then just sending traffic to a dialer

Garce...

Thanks for your post.. I told the webmaster about the links prob... They're on his own dedicated server and he didn't know...

My post using them as an example was the amount of space they give to Ravishing there, and why they make good sales... The only prob is the 500 galleries promoting it have been down :(

Hopefully it's be up again PDQ :)

Joe,
Well said. On my site the only script is a toplist. What a surfer clicks is what they get.... and it's ALL CLICKED Traffic. That's why the stats here http://www.themasturbationstation.com/webmasters.html are so critical.... it's not TGP sent traffic. It's SE, Choker, and Bookmarks.

Bling.

stag44 11-18-2004 04:51 AM

Interesting thread this... I'm a newbie, I have established quite a big paysite and an affilaite programme to run alongside it...... Now have about 50 affiliates, which are a mixture of TGP's, review sites and my models own sites. The best conversion comes from 1 of the review site rabbit reviews (about 1:25) some of my models own sites are the next best converters (about1:50) TGPs blow the stats out of water at about 1:1200.
The affiliate program I've put up is well managed, with new galleries of unseen material going up each month. I write to all the tgp affiliates telling them when new gallaries are posted for them. I've also written to some of them, giving them the stats and asking them how we could improve things, but got no response.
Finding suitable affiliates is a real problem, as most webmasters think that an affiliate scheme should drive traffic to them. Whereas (and i may be shooting myself in the foot here) my membership site doesnt carry any advertising or links to other sites. The theory behind this being, if your a member of an expensive site u shouldnt be bombarded to go elsewhere. The advantage to the affiliates it we have a very high renewal rate, so they gain long term revenue.
Comments welcome.

If you have tried a bunch of programs and cant get any of them to convert could it be that you are marketing them incorrectly by any chance?

The first thing i would look at if i were you is your own marketing technique :2 cents:

Lee

You should do a test run of www.AdultLounge.com sites ...

We have been in this industry since 1995 but launched our affiliate program Adult Lounge last year in August....

We have 450 adult sites but only 106 in the Adult Lounge network.....with a crew of in house staff we manage them very well and update daily....our members areas rock and lots of our content is exclusive.

Thank you in advance for considering us and if you have any questions please contact Art Del Gado who is our Affiliate Manager. All of our contact info is on http://www.adultlounge.com/contactus.html

JoeA 11-18-2004 09:43 AM

Stag 44

You have a message on ICQ :)

I also send out regular emails to affiliates not dissimilar to yours and the response is zilch !!!

As far as I can see now most affiliates really are lazy bastards looking to make money without doing any work.. If they don't get sales they come here and crry. They say I sent 5000 hits to a site and didn't get one sale... I wonder how many of the 5000 wanted to end up at the site as they were looking for something else !!!

All trading scripts do is send surfers to sites/pages they weren't looking for unless they get lucky....

So affiliates/TGP owner have clean links and make sales :)
