Why Voxel? I know Voxel isn?t very popular on GFY yet but I know they?re actually extremely popular amongst many hosting communities. I know they operate an EXCELLENT network that is even a mirror for such reputable sites as SourceForge ? but I don?t know if their level of service (remote hands, support, etc.) could compare to ISPrime, NatNet, etc.

I can?t afford to fork over 50k *extra* on top of what I?m already paying for premium cisco switches and juniper firewalls + additional servers for routers. I can cover my current costs of managing my support staff, servers and customers, as well as hosting for them? but I can?t buy new routers :).

Heh, I love sports and I love your comparison ? but I don?t know if it?s a legitimate comparison. Obviously the leaders here in this poll are ISPrime, NatNet and Jupiter but the other hosts still have some votes too. I?m trying to learn what makes ISPrime (for example) THAT MUCH more superior than Webair for example.

First...Thanks to everyone who has been singing the praises of NatNet. I have always said that NatNet was not the only quality hosting company in the industry...but it is the one that pays my bills so, of course, I think we are the best! LOL!!

FiberNexus...I am willing to put my money where my mouth is....I would like to make you a deal. I will pay your expenses to fly to Atlanta and meet with me and my staff...tour our data center and NOC and see with your own eyes what makes NatNet work. Additionally, I will pay for you to go to two competitors of your choice and meet with them and discuss the same with them. Then you make the choice that is best for you.

The only thing that I ask in return is that you come back to GFY with a *comprehensive* report on what you found. I dont care if you even tell anyone who you chose...just what you learned.

We do a couple 100k / yr with Jupiter and those guys rock and the price is decent. You'll make more money with Jupiter.

If you want to pay for premium service and get premium service you have to go with Natnet.

I don't know why anyone would consider any of the others.

Webair has been the best for me so far. I've been with 4 different hosting companies to date so I have seen enough to know what I like.

Just to put it in perspective, my first dedicated host was Verio in 2000/2001... and Webair beats them.

I have given them my business for the past 4 years and have had little if no trouble. Any issues I have had have been resolved in an effective and efficient manner.

Thanks for the kudos, asdfqwer, but how long has it been since you got a quote from us? On any decent sized account, yes, sometimes we are a LITTLE bit more...but sometimes we are a LITTLE bit less. We are not, and will never be, a "loss price leader". With that said, however, this industry has gotten more and more competitive and we have made some very good moves that have enabled us to get our prices alot more in-line with other companies.

What is funny is that I could probably have a special limited time offer that says "We will charge you 10% more than you are paying now" and I would get more new customers than I could handle.....how many other companies do you think could do that?

While others promise to save you money, I promise to make you happy! (and yes, making you happy also means you have to be happy with the price)

So, asdfqwer, when you are ready to get talk business let me know...I am sure that you would find yourself happy to be in the NatNet family.

not to take anything away from webair or any of the companies but be sure to look at what nicks voted for which companies... It seems a couple of the companies are stacking the votes with fake nicks.
