Finger in the cookie jar or not, right or wrong, bad or good, take care of this off the boards!

on this board or any other in the public eye is going to accomplish what more than off the board? tell me ?

nothing more than hurting the whole internet industry weather it be true or not!

I would think someone doing as well as you would want to protect your time and money invested in all your sites no?

I understand if you feel something was done wrong to you that you must speak out and warn others, Trust me I am the same way, and I have learned a lot in this business of when not to do things even though I think its the right thing to do or whats deserved.

But think for one second if this is all true or not how this could affect the whole internet big time. All we need is the mainstream press's public eye that already doesn't always like us, catching wind on something like this possibly going around?

Do you think it could hurt us all or help us??? It will hurt us!

If you have a enemy or agenda then the best way is to do it quietly. Send out emails do whatever but just do it where the mainstream press cant see it when your dealing with something this serious. :2 cents:

Please try and be more professional in your responce and
I have some blogs I would like to link trade with ya hit up if you like.

Let me try to explain this differently, perhaps that way you'll be able to understand it.

Not telling people about scammers in our industry = silent acceptance of what they do = telling others it's OK to scam people and silently encouraging them to do so.

Would you rather be regulated by the government or fall prey to scammers?

I am going to tell you what you are doing is making things a million times worse for yourselves and everyone around you, and that's everyone program owners, shooters, webmasters.

What do you think the public is going to do when and if mainstream Press, does a special on this, on TV or in the papers you fucking idiots!

They are not going to be running to the computer to put there credit cards in and buy porn online are they?

You guys need to shut the fuck up and keep this shit off the boards and do your investigating, phone complaints, emails complaints, and whatever other shit you have to do off the boards out of the public eye for all of our sakes including your own if you really care about your money!

All your doing is hurting your own traffic and conversion ratios.

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH ALREADY IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR INDUSTRY THEN TAKE IT OFF THE BOARDS PLEASE!
:disgust:disgust:disgust:disgust:disgust

This really isn't about the adult industry and doesn't represent it. It's juts plain credit card fraud and they're using the adult industry as a means to acquire that information. No different than when they used the credit repair industry 10 years ago.

This has nothing to do about x-sales, tube sites, bad members areas, cancel pages, etc. It's just plain old credit card fraud. People need to stop trying to tie this in to the adult industry. These guys could be selling any other service and doing this (and they have).

let me paste the same response i gave to someone else on the other thread for this one

Yes I agree 100% but there a other ways to do this off the boards if you feel you must attack someone. I am not taking sides here or attacking people like I use to. I have learned in this biz that you get more bee's with honey and not shit.

The stuff has already been posted so just let it die. Your not gaining anything by dragging this out. Your just taking a risk that a mainstream press party may make this hurt us all. At this point it just looks like people are trying to attack a person or company and your not hurting them, your going to end up hurting us all.

You don't need to put it in the press for people to read. If you are trying to tell people in the biz then tell them, dont tell everyone else.

There are so many ways other than the boards. I have a email list of 3500 people in this biz and I use it when I need to for things like this. We all have email list but this is just going to hurt us all as a whole

So letting it continue for longer time and having more people get ripped off is the answer? I think it'd be important to nip it in the bud sooner, rather than later.

Do you really think a credit card fraud operation cares about a few nasty e-mails?

Donnylong and Robbie, , I just wanted to let you know that you carry a great deal of respect on this board and in the industry so I really try to think and understand things you write but I really disagree with you guys on a lot of things.

I think a public forum is the ideal way to gather attention to issues. We have the internet, why not use it?

Donny, I am curious to know what percentage of your production business revenue comes from programs that do aggressive x-selling. It may be zero. I just think your thoughts would be better understood if we knew how much you relied on these companies for your business. Oh, and by the way, this could be a whole nuther thread all by itself:

http://www.donnylongstudios.com/new%...13)%20copy.jpg

I'm not judging. Just sayin......:-)

Robbie, you posted in some post that we shouldn't report the shady programs because it will bring attention and regulation to our industry. If ...oh....I don't know......if Scotttrade got wind of Bernie Madoff's investment scheme, should they not have called the authorities? Or would that have brought undue attention and regulation on the investment industry?

I own a paysite program that is infinitesimally smaller than I$ or Dee or Muffia or whomever else is out there. So, take that into consideration when I write whatever I write but I feel every time IncredibleDollars or whomever, makes a sale, it takes money out of my pocket. If that sale was simply because they have such incredible content then so be it, fair competition. If, however, that sale pisses off the surfer who will now be very hesitant to ever join my paysite or any other, then they are stealing money from me and I ain't happy about it. I would think you would not be either.

rock-reed 12-16-2008 03:14 AM

I send incredible dollars quite a bit of traffic.

Should I stop sending them my traffic Right Now?

Thanks

My answer would be yes, but I'm not the right person to give that response. I would like to hear what an existing affiliate of I$ would do.

Silly to ask others how to run your business. Gather the info and make your own informed decision. See if this issue effects you and your customers :2 cents:
