Wow, great results so far! Congrats on getting your health back!

Have Juicy give you a spray tan and an all over body waxing and you'll look even cutter.

Insanity? P90X anyone?? :)

Not one person I know has gone the full cycle...to the letter I mean. Are you working on that right now?

Chosen 05-06-2010 10:06 AM

Well done man :thumbsup

Yep - two weeks away from grad day for P90X and in week three of Insanity. But I haven't been able to do it to the letter. It's going to end up taking me close to four months to hit the 90 days. The last six weeks have been pretty solid, though.

Serge Litehead 05-06-2010 10:27 AM

Drop the exercise routine and stick with the empty sexual encounters. That's exercise enough!

Big UPS Carlos, damn I'm now 1.5 years here in Czech Rep and also gained a lot of weight probably from the good beers, food here, too many hrs behind the computer and no exercises. Anyway you gave me some inspiration :) I have here a full gym gear and will start one of these days.

Sharky 05-06-2010 10:50 AM

Congrats Carlos!

I've slacked off on my diet over the last 90 days focusing on work. I have still been working out, but I let my diet get the best of me.

Your progress has motivated me more. Stay tuned for my 90 days update now!

Congrats!

LeslieSharp 05-06-2010 11:07 AM

nice job! Very impressive 2 month work!

surprised to see so much corn on your diet when it is supposed to be uber fattening.

i cut out processed flowers but not wheat, steer off starchy things like carrots and potatoes and do well :)

xoxo
Leslie

holy shit that's impressive. props.

OY 05-06-2010 11:55 AM

Good work!

Btw, how in the world do one get rid of that "last skin/fat" around the belly area? I mean, that is a drag to get rid of!

Been working out myself a lot and that is the part that seems the toughest and also the part that comes back first if I get lazy.

Any good suggestions from someone that has actually managed to get rid of that part?

i am successfully attacking that now. i went from 16% bf to ~10% and then stopped.

based on my calcs, that leaves only 5-7 pounds of fat left to hit my goal of ~8% bf. i've had to cut fats down to ~10%, added an extra cardio routine to my training 3x a week. i added this 2 weeks ago and have started losing bf again, about 1/2% (3/4 pound) without any loss in LBM. so my carb-protein-fat ratio is now 45-45-10 split b/w 3 balanced meals eaten prior to 6 pm + 3 snacks (protein shakes)

I maintain with just yoga. It's amazing, I have way more energy and no back pain from all the computer time I put in.

Keep taking progress pics and write in detail about your strategies in a journal/blog format.

When you're done, you can write an ebook, promote it with your journal entries, and make a million bucks!

lol yeah, I thought about it for a second, maybe will eventually put a blog up

About 140 miles from there, Brno means no tourists, more space on the streets, half the price for cocktails, I know women are of no interest of yours as you're a faithful man, but they sure have half the attitude over here compared to Prague.

Yeah, I can see how that would be about all ya need if you're just looking to stay in total, all around shape. Have you tried any of the Insanity workouts? I'd say that and yoga and you'd be set - at least for overall health.

M0nk 05-06-2010 02:36 PM

results are the best motivation! an you have some good ones there! :thumbsup

fatfoo 05-06-2010 02:52 PM

Excellent - a topic about losing fat and exercising. Congratulations with getting into better shape.

I have a few things to say to you:
1) Stay away from drugs and alcohol and bad food; put the right things into your body
2) You may contemplate suicide, but you have to stay alive. Do not die, survive.
3) Looks like you are on the right track, keep it up.
4) Empty sexual encounters? You could choose to resist sexual temptations.

LAJ 05-06-2010 03:07 PM

I'd prefer to keep certain things outside of public internet, can tell as much as that I've lost the most important person in my life due to lengthy cancer.
