Tubes get tons of traffic and the surfers bookmark the good ones giving out tons of content.

And turn 10 buyers into 1 buyer.

So how many views on a scene before you get a click to a site and how many surfers does it take to earn a sign up?

As an affiliate there's little you can do to change the trend of less people buying. That ball lies entirely in the court of sponsors.

All I know is from posting samples and full length videos on Tubes the traffic stunk. Was hardly worth my time.

We did have AEBN as an affiliate with their Tube site, they had a link under some porn scenes of ours. It said "See more of Paul Markham Teens videos." The traffic was awesome. Except the moment they found they were on a paysite they clicked right back. :(

Sausage had a Tube and we were the top voted and viewed scene on it with a banner next to the scene. Never got a sign up.

The vast majority of people are not on Tube sites to pay for porn. Someone is happy converting 99.9% of surfers that click. <shit stats>

Its not the on-tour ratios that are bad, those are the same as any other ratios today, its the amount of on-site traffic it takes to get people to the tours, thats where the bad tube ratios are...

I know you generally don't like any tubes at all but it makes a huge difference which type of tube it is and the traffic sources. There's nothing about a tube which makes it automatically a horrible converter. Don't forget that you can still have a tube filled with nothing but 30 second teaser clips.

Affiliates actually have it pretty good if they are smart. All you need to do is ensure that you can quickly and easily swap out links and content of a sponsor who is not performing. Then you use someone else who converts and keeps their shit off PornBB. It's far easier for an affiliate to walk away from a program or even an entire niche than it is for the average sponsor.

CTR, yes I agree with that. Part of that is the trend towards large urls on the videos (pay sites). Another part is ad blockers and then there is good old fashioned surfer disinterest.

That's something people refuse to count or are unable to.
