Trump camp files lawsuit to block Michigan recount

How unDemocratic. What is Trump afraid of? Anyone else find this suspicious?

-------

The Michigan recount initiated by Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein is on hold.

Attorneys for President-elect Donald Trump filed an objection Thursday with the Michigan Bureau of Elections, a move that under Michigan law halts the recount until the complaint is resolved.

The objection in Michigan comes one day after the Wisconsin Republican Party filed a Federal Election Commission complaint arguing that Stein is pushing a recount there to benefit former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

Now it makes sense.

Michigan Trump staffer convicted on ten counts of felony election fraud 11/30/2016

Bladewire 12-01-2016 06:29 PM

"In a statement, Progress Michigan said Hall?s conviction is proof that former Green Party candidate Jill Stein?s recount effort should continue in Michigan.

?Donald Trump has made claim after claim calling the integrity of the election into question, but his Michigan campaign had no problem hiring a staff member facing election law charges,? executive director Lonnie Scott said. ?The fact that the Trump campaign and the Michigan Republican Party embraced Brandon Hall is just one more reason to recount and audit the vote in Michigan.?

Wait a second..... What's going on here?

If Trump has nothing to fear, why wouldn't he just let the recount happen? The man guilty of "election fraud" was an older case, and very limited in scope, so that's not it.

Is Trump afraid of something?

I surely do not want to jump on the conspiracy theory bandwagon here, but something isn't right. ALL of the polls had Clinton ahead by a healthy amount. ALL of them. Was EVERYONE wrong here or is there something else going on here?

They hired Brandon Hall for the Trump campaign in Michigan knowing he was being tried for 10 counts of voter fraud, and today he's been found guilty.

Trump knowingly hired a voter cheat to his Michigan campaign, while publicly claiming the election is rigged, but now says there is nothing to see here when a recount is requested :1orglaugh

Usually those screaming the loudest about something are the ones whom have something to hide. Trump claimed over and over that it was rigged and still tries to claim it was rigged in areas "HE" didn't win.. Meanwhile no issues in a state he hired guy whom was charged with election fraud and became a felon due to those charges..

Seems like a duck, quacks like a duck.. It's usually a duck.. Besides that we've already seen the "vote padding" by officials in favor of Trump. That in and of it's self shows biased fraud at the official's level..

There'sno way the establishment tampered with the votes to allow Trump to win. We know the establishment tampered the votes so Hillary got to be in the race.

Not the establishment.

People like Trumps guy in Michigan that was just found guilty of 10 counts of voter fraud. Guys like that would stuff ballots etc. Trump has been corrupt for decades as his lost & settled lawsuits show.

What is odd is that Team Trump is blocking the recount in Michigan but not Wisconsin. Why not both? What makes Michigan more important?

Doesn't add up.

0.22% WTF?
I live in Michigan and would be more than willing to pay my fair share as a voter.

What if Trump lost by 0.22% what would you say? :1orglaugh:1orglaugh

I'd say it's 11,000 votes; not going to overcome that many votes.

Percentage points mean nothing when you are talking all or nothing

Rochard 12-02-2016 10:01 AM

So now Trump is trying to block this in all states?

That's not suspicious at all. What is he hiding?

Can you imagine if they did a recount and discover massive fraud? OMG.

Jill Stein should be jailed for implying the people of the great state of Michigan don't know how to count. Also, for questioning the divinity of The God Emperor? Donald J. Trump IMO OP.

It's seriously entirely possible they don't know how to count. When sued by students for poor education and delapitated schools, the Republican Michigan attorney general filed for case dismissal stating that "students have no right to literacy."

Business as usual for billionaire elites eating frogs legs, lamb, etc while you defend him as a man of "your people" as he fills the swamp and hires multiple Sachs execs to drain the treasury, again.

Rochard 12-02-2016 01:33 PM

I figured it out today... It seems he barely won some of these states. While still unlikely to change anything, the Democrats want this because it's a "chance" however small it is, and Trump is trying to stop it because there is a chance it will change things.

It's not like it's taking much money for Drumpf to send his legal team out there...

During the campaign Clinton said she hasn't driven a car in over twenty years. Think about it - She was first lady, her husband was president, and they will have Secret Service protect until they both die (or at least Bill dies). They drive her every where - no need for her to drive, no need to even own a car.

Frankly, this gave me pause. Someone who hasn't so much as driven a car in the past twenty years is so far removed from reality and part of the social elite that I have a hard time seeing them understand what ordinary Americans face every day.

Then we have Trump who most likely spent more on this meal than I have ever spent on a single meal in my entire life.
