Some Dutch "investigator" can say anything because he is just a... Dutch investigator who knows nothing. The Russian military are tracking all the civilian airlines, so they could not confuse anything civilian with a military plane. So it was done by the Ukrainian rebels or by the regular Ukrainian army (both sides use BUKs).

There were MANY investigators from all over the world - It wasn't just 1 Dutch guy - Also I don't think they are suggesting the Russian's were confused about anything...

Course both - the rebels and the official Ukrainian army have used BUKs... and they use them even now. But Russian army knows about all civilian airflights with a 100% accuracy. We all saw video of the investigators on the ground - Also most of the investigation like any other would not have taken place at the scene...

this whole story reminds me of saddams invisible WMD or assads chemical attacks on completely irrelevant civilian targets...russia shooting down a malay aircraft for no reason at all...yeah...sounds legit...

so the chances of any country in the world confusing a civilian flight with a military one are next to 0 because all the planes on radar have distinctive markings...

the whole story smells like western false flag to me...when in doubt follow the money...russian motives for shooting down a malay aircraft = 0....western/rebel motives for false flag = greater than zero...

I will explain it. The Ukrainians had a real motive to get it down. Actually that civilian plane was escorted by the military Ukrainian jet fighter (don't know why nobody mentioned it here).

The rebels could do it too because they have used only one single BUK unit, which can't track civilian airlines etc and works on a very short distance (those clowns just thought it was a military jet carier). The Russian army does not use BUKs like that. It does use the BUK complexes - at least 4 (BUK-M1) or 5 (BUK-M2) mobile units that work together. Since there was only one BUK unit, it was something rogue which could not be a part of the Russian army. It's like the American aircraft carrier alone... w/o any support group.

P.S. To the OP. I know that the "international investigation" is cool, but just turn your logic on. Maybe your brain is so simple and your logic is similar to 4-bit logic of my cat, but you still have it. Once again: just try to turn it on when you read "the news".

Now's not the time to be defending.. the decision has been made.. Russia did it.

All that's needed now is for Mueller to finish his investigation in to the American 2016 elections. Forgetting if Trump was colluding or not, the question of if Russia was trying to influence those elections or not is pretty much concluded as yes. Mueller's just going to report on how deep the rabbit hole went, and where it stopped.

Also better hope they don't find to many manuals printed in Russian around North Koreas arsenals.

Possible motive = you had soldiers inside Ukraine working independently from your govt to help the rebels.. These soldiers didn't have access to Russian tracking info because communications would prove Russian was funding the invasion.

It was a war zone, I think it's safe to assume there was some fog of war going on.. No one has said Russia purposely shot down the airliner. Your guys did it by mistake for whatever reason..
