So the schools each year offer the flu vaccine and each year we ignore it.
Should we be whipping ourselves with birch sticks?

The flu thing isn't an injection apparently it's something they put up the nose. Anyway they have never had it. 9 &4.

If they are healthy and don't have any respiratory problems (asthma or bronchitis) there shouldn't be a problems.

Flu vaccines are mostly used to help people prevent getting a flu... usually helps older people or ill people that have weaker immune system.

The problem with a lot of people is they don't know what 'real' flu is - It will put you out of action for weeks not days like a bad common cold that most people think is flu...

Yeah, I am 44 and pretty sure I never got flu once in 44 years. Sure I often felt shit. I probably got a cold. I sometimes got a fever. Lasted a day maybe.
My kids have had a cold, maybe once they were too ill to go to school. For 1 day.

They even taught science in my elementary school. I forget what grade I was in exactly, something like Grade 4 or 5, our science teacher brought out these things called "Natures Window". They were pitri dishes with some kind of clear goop in them. You would drop a single bean seed into it and over a few weeks watch it grow. We had to be sure they got just the right light, and it had some kind of colored strip in it that would show what gasses it gave off (it was in a dish don't forget). That was how I learned about Sun, Solar, CO2, the importances of plants, etc.

Got the flu shot a couple days ago. I've had the flu before so I know how much it sucks.

You can get the flu even after getting the shot, but in most cases it is greatly reduced.

If you haven't had the flu and one day you get it you'll know right away because your whole body is sore. Like everything hurts and you have zero energy, along with all of the other effects. And it lasts forever.. Depending on your immune system it can take a week or more to get rid of that crap.

The flu vaccine won’t stop the flu as they always guess the strain wrong, but we do know the jab increases the risk of miscarriage in pregnant women, we also know it increases the risk of other infections.

Flu is actually good for you as it decreases your risk of cancer, cancer is far worse than flu.

I can guarentee I know a lot more than your doctor about vaccines as it is my special interest, an obsessive fascination of mine. I read vaccine studies for fun in the same way as you read about Apple products. You seem to have a block in your mind towards this topic, and it appears that it is partly willful as I have provided extensive information on past occassions here.

Back in the late 70’s or early 80’s my mom got the flu shot. It might have been around the time of the swine flu. Anyway, within a few days she had the worst case of the flu. Three weeks sick and i remember her saying her whole body ached.

The doctor came over and asked why she took the flu shot. He explained that this strain of virus protection gave you the flu so your body could fight it if you got it again. But next time it could be another strain of the flu. Claimed that proper sleep, nutrition, and meds helps clear it from your system. The big drug companies convinced the media that the shot prevents the flu and everyone needs it.

I’ve never taken the flu shot. Germs cause colds and flu and killing them is hard to do. Too many strains of bacteria and I’d rather be ill and take known antibiotics than new vaccines or meds. The nursing home insisted I take a shot while in a coma. My legal guardian, mom, refused it and doctors had to write and agree with her. With all my illnesses and medical conditions, putting germs into me was crazy.

They charge $900 per shot. Seriously. Claim it’s not cheap and yadda yadda yadda. When I researched years later, the shot was $20 or less to produce. Pharmaceutical companies gave it to medical environments for free to protect the public. Tax deductions, too!
