CAHEK 01-29-2021 07:07 AM

nikki99 01-29-2021 07:18 AM

jscott 01-29-2021 08:16 AM

Congrats Dogecoinians!

And wonderful, people can trade Bitcoin/crypto 24hrs/day without pre/post market, no scammy ass circuit breakers or regulator interferences.

LeRoy 01-29-2021 09:17 AM

Wish these crypto tips would be posted earlier. Like when it was at .0002 or something then cash out when it's at 5 cents. My bitcoin feels all over again. FML

Never too late Leroy. As long as fiat continues to lose value, by inflation, it's never too late :winkwink:

Fully trust inflation, invest based on that, you'll be fine.

pornguy 01-29-2021 11:17 AM

They better cut it out. Its one thing to come to the defense of GameStop when a short seller is using social media to get the price to drop so he can make a few billion.

But otherwise they are going to get into trouble.

:1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh

wow this is a miracle!...all investors will be winners...wow...so unlike all the crashes before, this time, somehow, everybody will win...contrary to any logic and contrary to the most basic market principles, everybody will be rolling in fat stacks...

:1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh

jscott 02-02-2021 05:20 AM

Not everyone. Holding is difficult, and most traders think theyre smartest ever (like you) end up getting ass handed to them, by people like me. I take your $/btc with patience on trades. Hyper freaks like you get rekt.

reality: like in every crash of crypto before, a few win and a lot lose...if only there was a name for this...gambling? :1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh

you fail to explain how the price will just rise forever and the majority will not lose for the minority to buy lambos? :1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh

I'm new to crypto but what most people are saying is that because BC is limited, at one point the supply will run out and the price will be much higher than it is today due to that demand.

jscott 02-02-2021 06:33 AM

Bitcoin stock to flow

inflating fiat + 21mn max supply BTC = NGU (#go up) against fiat.

Eventually pricing Bitcoin with gold or other assets would be a better way

you just wrote a fantasy formula that ignores ALL the absolute pitfalls of crypto and calculates a naive best case scenario that will never ever happen...

tesla stonk + moon = mad lambos :1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh

^^^^this is what your explanation sounds like...

there are 1000s of crypto currencies, and even with just bitcoin there are bits of bitcoin, satoshis so its not really limited to 21.000.000 but to a vastly greater amount...basic math exists...the smaller the units the smaller the gain from scarcity <---:thumbsup

^^ did he say 21million is larger than 21million bcos of fractions? :1orglaugh :1orglaugh

yes I did...you can not buy 0.12 stradivarius violins...you can only buy 1 whole violin...there are x amount of stradivarius and no more...1 stradivarius is the smallest possible tradable unit...the scarcity is obvious...there are say 30 total violins (random number I pulled out of ass)

bitcoin is a name...100.000.000 satoshis is one coin...a coin is an imaginary unit...it is not real...only 3% of ALL wallets have more than 1 bitcoin...97% of ALL wallets have SATOSHIS...

https://bitinfocharts.com/top-100-ri...addresses.html

the huge bulk of all actual trade is done in.....wait for it.......wait for it.....wait for it.......SATOSHIS!....can you REALLY and HONESTLY say people are using bitcoins or satoshis??? <------reality exists

yes the total number of bitcoin is limited...the total number of dozens of bitcoin is also limited...as is the total number of any arbitrary amount...but fact remains, we do not trade in millions of dollars but in dollars...we do not trade in tons of gold but in grams (jewlery stores etc)....reality: sathoshi market

so one hundred million x 21 million = 21 hundred million million satoshis...

nail in the coffin of your argument: the smallest divisible unit of one stradivarius violin is one...in the real world, one stradivarius violin is sold not half...maybe somebody purchased a broken violin LOL but you get the point :thumbsup bitcoin is a name for 100million satoshis...

let me know if you get confused again :thumbsup

I see. Yeah i didn't think about that. Like I said, I'm new to crypto and that world.

Everyone seems to be going nuts though about fiat collapse or at least devalue of fiat due to printing. Which is why they want to buy digital.

It's funny, people bought lots of gold during the 2009 crash and the stock market went on a bull run for a decade.

It's hard to know what's going on.

if usain bolt does not run the 100m sprint in under 9 seconds this does not mean that some no name runner with no leg is the champion...

if fiat has trouble, this is no way means bitcoin is king...it is very possible that bitcoin rises to 1million$/coin but ONLY at the expense of others who put money in the system...what you take out, somebody has to put it...if only there was a name for this? :2 cents:

reality: I have lived through a complete reset of currency...literally overnight money was changed to a new currency...no problem...fiat will collapse, it has done so in many countries....the next day new fiat was ready...it is what people use...

You're anti markets then. Wow, you must have made some TERRIBLE financial decisions in your life. I'd imagine in 5 years from now you'll even worse off. Imagine in 4 years after the next BTC halving, lol, @pimpmaster9000 rekt :1orglaugh

you are lying to yourself not to me...there are 21 hundred million million satoshis...it is the unit that trade is done in...almost nobody uses/owns whole bitcoins...I understand that you need to ignore this because it is completely detrimental to your argument :thumbsup

Research the terms "inflation" or "fiat debasement", it'll help you understand things a bit more :winkwink:

The reason why Bitcoin is designed that everyone wins in the long term, (if holding) is not at expense of others, it's because trillions more $$$ is introduced to the world via central banks printing.

People who lose are the you's, who think you can outsmart math and markets and get rekt like you before. Buy BTC, hold, be patient. If you had only done this years ago instead of losing then crying everyday about it, you'd maybe be financially better off. Hell, buy gold/silver if you hate Bitcoin so much, then again, you hate all markets :helpme

Hey there Mr. Free Market! Let me splain something to you. I buy a Bitcoin from someone who wants to sell it. I sell a Bitcoin to someone who wants to buy it.

Simple as a pimple. Do you get that concept? That's all there is to it.

Get your head on straight.
