I'm sure you’ve already known about the hostilities against the civilian population of Ukraine.
I am an adult webmaster within 15 years experience in the industry. I also work with many of you as well . I am a resident of Kharkiv city- today we were under fire and many people were died, residents of my city. We sit in shelters.

Russia is killing my fellow citizens, they are not just attacking the military, they are entering the cities.

I ask you to join the sanctions and try to influence the Russians, they are already suffering an economic crisis that has never happened before - but you can participate - block the accounts of those who are from Russia. It is possible for a while - while the war is ongoing. This will increase the pressure on them.

While noble, I think somewhat pointless. I do not think that blocking some random affiliate webmasters from Russia will cause any large scale harm to the Russian economy, nor does some random affiliate webmaster have any influence on the actions of the Russian government.

Maybe webmaster in Russia is just normal guy like you wanting to feed family, and they already have economic problems there just the same as in UA, panic buying, no money in banks etc. There's no need to shit on every Russian civilian further.

Small Russian webmaster will suddenly lose money and still not be able to do anything to resolve UA issue, big one has company outside of Russia and still cannot do anything about War. Huge sanctions on oligarchs - Villas and Yachts for half a billion seized and that's not doing anything - and that has not even had effect so some guy not getting $300 payment will not make any difference even more so.

Like I said, It's noble you want to help how you can but such a thing wouldn't help anyone in any way and only hurt someone that's already probably hurting.

i've had "sanctions" on Russia and China for about 10 years. they aren't allowed on my network. all hackers and crackers, no customers there.

it's a really fucked up position. one russian guy said it was suppose to be a drill and he said they just started shooting. i think the ukraine started this war. instead of blocking off roads you see clear roads. where were the h barriers? i didnt see anything blocked off. they just sat on their hands.

In many videos captured aggressor's soldiers (teens 18+) are telling they are thinking still on a drill. In Ukraine's land shooting and bombing civilians.

The main difference that this drill was in Russia and Belarus.
