Sushi for 3....$83.00

To Go containers for your leftovers....Free.

Dinner with a friend and my mommy....Priceless.

And this is only half of the leftovers.

This box weighs between 2 and 3 pounds.

There is only one great Sushi place in Portland, and that's where I had dinner last night.

I drop 100+ at the top places here in Seattle for just my GF and I sometimes...

But you can get fairly good for 2 at like 60 bucks too in Fremont here in Seattle

Amputate Your Head 05-19-2005 08:40 AM

I wouldn't pay a nickel for raw fish. Tell 'em to cook that shit.

I've had Sushi at a few places in Seattle.

I've had Sushi all over North America...This place is the best by far. SoCal has some damn good places though and there is a place in the Sacramento area that's pretty damn good too.

None of the decent places have as good of a value as this place though.

Whats it called?

If you're ever in Seattle and dont mind opening up your checkbook....hit up Ototos and Saitos

lazycash 05-19-2005 08:43 AM

Only $83 and you had left overs? I can't do sushi for 2 down here in San Diego for under $75 and sushi is one food I would never take home as left overs.

new method I've been testing out.... early to bed, early to rise.... that way when I get burned out by 3pm, I can get the fuck out of my office without feeling too much guilt. Plus, I get alot more done at 3am when there's no distractions.

Gunni 05-19-2005 08:52 AM

there's areally good place here in Barcelona that has a all you can eat conveyour belt buffet for 10$ with beer :)

and I have eaten at fancy sushi places in London and elsewhere, and this one fully compares

Bail at 3 and hit the waves? Are the whales gone now?

Donny 05-19-2005 08:54 AM

My fiance and I love sushi so much that it would not be out of the question to visit Portland just to eat at the sushi place.

... err... I mean... just to visit AaronM...

Yes, it is. I think it has best sashimi in town. Also the saito role is a california roll with real crab, raw scallop and special sauce...its yummers

Ototos has good sashimi as well and has some more hard to find kinds. But the real reason to go there is for the best rainbow roll on the planet

There is a newer place in Fremont that myself and a few of my employees like to go after work or for lunch. Its called Chiso and fast becoming one of my favorites

Yes massa!

Actually, I'm in the middle of 3 updates and then must go to the hardware store to buy some 3" screws. Part of the fence fell down and I need to get it back up ASAP. It looks like crap right now.

WebTitan 05-19-2005 09:06 AM

damn! now i am hungry....

jonpotz 05-19-2005 09:07 AM

i used to go to beneihannas all you can eat sushi nights every monday for 20$ wish a buddy of mine.

we haven't been back there since the last time because we ordered so much sushi (you pay extra for what you dont eat) that we couldn't finish it all so we went to the bathroom and started making ourselves throw up and took shits so we could down more and not pay. even after the throw up and shit we still had some left over so we started stuffing it in our pockets and throwing it under the table! LOL.

now i eat a moderate amount of sushi instead of stuffing face. in jersey there are tons of great places.

Looking damn

Tim 05-19-2005 09:40 AM

Love that stuff! :)

DutchTeenCash 05-19-2005 09:53 AM

thats a bargain, still I dont get the cali rolls, whoever invented that... its just inside out, hey and whats with the sesame all over?

Then again youve picked all the cheap ones I see, I like eal Onagu, with the syrup over it, theyre like 5 euros each already...

Sushi rocks :)

Just_Dave 05-19-2005 09:55 AM

that is a good price

ChefJeff 05-19-2005 09:57 AM

Best Sushi value around. Shogun in Northridge, CA.

1/2 price sushi all day and all night. Quality is as good as any expensive Sushi place I have been to.

Blowfish Sushi in SF and LA is good too but expensive.

They are all cheap. The most expensive roll in the place is like 7 bucks or something like that. The eel is around 5 bucks I believe.

The roll in the front / center is almost as big around as a baseball and happens to be the most expensive roll on their menu.

And BTW...Thanks for the insult, jackass. We didn't pick the cheapest, we picked what we wanted to eat.

Gabriel 05-19-2005 09:57 AM

Damn leftovers!!!???

Rookie ;)

AD19 05-19-2005 10:02 AM

Kabuki (The Bridge), Crazy Fish, Sushi Roku and Miagi's (all in LA area) are my choices.

WiredGuy 05-19-2005 10:02 AM

That's a great deal.

Tala 05-19-2005 10:02 AM

Oh YUM!!!

I'm SUCH a sushi fiend. I try to make it a point to visit a sushi place in every city I visit.

Vegas had a decent place or two, but that's the last sushi I had. :(

Here's the strange thing. I love eel. I just can't stand the way it looks so I rarely order it.

FuqALot 05-19-2005 10:07 AM

Hmm I have never tried Sushi.

I think fish is disgusting though.
