King Kong: Not worth it
 

Just saw it. Well, the movie is FAR from a masterpiece.
Its just another remake with sub LOTR effects.

What else can i say, its way tooo long.
Great acting, poor editing.

Bad bad movie..

I downloaded and saved my $5

I liked it and thought it was entertaining.

That movie was pure action... if you didn't like the movie, you still have to admit there was Grade A action.

I can watch A-team reruns for that though. :(

I enjoyed it. The only CG that I really didn't like was the Dinosaurs running over the people.

I thought Kong was awsome. The guy who voiced and motion capatured Gollumn in LOTR also VOICE and motion captured Kong.

Apparently they had something that took your voice and processed it to Kong.

I give the film a B+

I wonder how this 'failure' (relative term) will impact Peter Jackson's career.

Great fucking movie.

The movie would have been awesome if they had only shortened it to about 2 hours, cut out some of the dino and boat ride stuff. Keep all the New York stuff because that is when the movie really took off and was great.

the movie is nice and has very good efects!

All I know is I hope Jackson does a live action version of "The Hobbit" or... pressing my luck, the Silmarillon (epic Tolkien novel).

Yes not a masterpiece but a good movie.

It is getting good reviews, so it won't do anything to it.

IF the movie is anything like the game, which was rad, then the movie should be a nonstop action flick - Just my kinda movie :pimp

The acting was great other then Jack Black.... i really can't stand the guy and him doing a some what serious role... YEAH RIGHT!! I did cry cause i am a big baby like that....when you see his eyes going darker.. :(

yea. That scene didnt look good. the compositing just wasnt there. the real people looked far to flat compared to the dinos

I dunno... Even as a kid I always thought that the entire concept of a huge gorilla was sorta stooopid.

I fell off my chair when I heard this Jack was making a new version of it...
It doesn't tempt me to see it at the theater.... but I'll probably end up getting it on DVD, perhaps.

Just like the film Titanic... Didn't bother watching that either.
I know the ending already sort of... just some sloppy "love" stuff in the middle minus the tits and ass.

Godzilla on the other hand... at least there you have a form of logic as to where this creature came from.
Nuclear fallout that increased cell size and mutations of an amphibious animal.
Then it kills stuff.

But this gorilla guy....??? Falling in love with a normal sized girl???
What's he gonna do, grope her tits and beat his chest, then empty his nuts over her face?
Doubt it... but that's a good angle for a new porn film! :pimp

Actually, I think it's about time to introduce Mrs King Kong.
So the two of them can climb up yet another building in the middle of NY and hump so the entire city can watch! Haha :1orglaugh

First movie I ever fell asleep in.

Never knew I hated the whole "King Kong" story line so much.
And the "action" - did nothing for me. In fact, I thought the CG wasn't that well done.

One of the best movies of 2005 imo. Jaw-dropping action.

I watched it yesterday and thought it was great.

my problem with this scene was the fact they could keep up with the dinosaurs. They could easily run 40 or 50 kph.. but a person can only run.. what maybe 10, 15kph? that is what made it unrealistic for me.

Awesome movie though - I was thoroughly entertained... very well cast and acted.
