Did you go to your High School Reunion?
 

Just wondering what % of folks actually went back to you HS reunion.

Was it a good time, did anything surprise you? Were the jocks overweight and unhealthy? Were the most likely to succeed peeps all cracked out?

How was your experience?

I would like to know too. I don't even know if our school had one. If they did well I didn't get invited.lol

High School was fun but overall not the awesome experience that i see in movies.

I had more fun, learn t more and laughed in the last month then I ever did at high school.

I missed my 10 year. I had finals. Ah man, ain't nothing like being a 30 year old senior.....you know, maybe it's time for graduate school :winkwink: :winkwink:

I don't like reunions.

i didnt go to mine. i hardly care about where everyone is and what they are doing.
the people i care about, i still speak to.

My 10 year is coming up in August, I dont think I'll be making it though

My HS didn't have one, I checked. Or they had one and managed to keep it a secret from me really well.

i went to my 10-year and had an awesome time...and i hated everyone back when i was there.

My ten year will be in 08... I still talk to the 5 people I was friends with from high school that I actually care about.

I recently went it was awesome! saw a lot of great friends i hadn't seen in years! If you have your coming up and you have reservations about going i suggest you bite the bullet it was great to see so many old friends and what had become of them. The chicks that use to be hot in high school were't so hot anymore that was the only bad part =// Very Interesting...

I saw my high school classmate and a friend also and told me that we'll be having a reunion by next week and he is the organizer. he also gave me a keychain in advance which will be the token of the event. but before this,I was surprised when he threw me a stone just to tell this..

I have one coming up in November.

Was a lot of fun. We all got trashed, talked about old times, and what we're up to these days.

A few had far less hair.

Most had at least a bit more gut.

The pretensions from High School were all pretty much all gone.


I ended up staying in town for a week, and hung out with many people - some of whom I never really had the chance to chill with back in the day.

I was banned from mine.

My class started up a Yahoo Group. It really is cool to see all the cliques die away, and people accepting each other for who they are.

I went to my 10 year. It was just like I expected. The same pretenders trying to be what they want, but can not quite reach. Leeching off mom and dad.

Actually heard on of the cheerleaders telling some of her girl friends that she might now marry the guy that proposed, because the diamond was not big enough. 1ct was not enough for her.

Stupid cunt.

10 Year: Everyone (else) is fat and bald.
My hot ex-girlfriend from Junior year was so fucking fat she was wearing a Moo-Moo... i kid you not.

I'm coming up on my 20th, and one particular prick from middle school on I always had a problem with.

He came on talking shit to the Yahoo Group, and said something to the effect, the great thing about being an 2nd degree black belt, EMT and owning guns is that he can kick my ass and then patch me up.

I hit him back with the great thing about being an MMA fighter is taking down Tae kwon do fags to the ground, and choking them the fuck out. Then asked if he wanted to compare gun collections. :)

wasn't allowed to attend mine.

I went, and it was great, met up and caught up with people i hadn't talked to since we went our ways to college.

this is what made my night:
there was a girl i dated from sophmore yr of highschool to sr. year and i thought i was gonna marry the girl, typical highschool puppylove bullshit. well she cheated on me senior year, it broke my heart.
as i was driving in the lot to the reunion, and the timing was just perfect, i see her and the guy she cheated on me with, guess they were married, getting out of this beat up honda civic. we made eye contact and i cracked a little smirk, felt really good driving by them and their beater with the top down on my sl55, date by my side, knowing that she'll be forever living a mediocre life ;) she still looked good though

Haha...I'm not old enough to have had one yet :) Our 5 year is in '09 :) Not sure if I'm gonna go. The only people I liked and that I would care to see again I see all the time anyway...so might be kind of pointless :-/

i dont think i would want to go, i'm horrible at recognizing people. i always run into people from high school and don't know who they are and feel stupid.

The cool part was everyone was fat, ugly and married. I was still thin, single, handsome and rich :winkwink:

my graduating class was around 110.....600 peeps in yours, I can't imagine going to school with that many people......

Exactly. My 10 year was pretty much like that for me. At one point I could have sworm that my dress and shoes cost more than the ex jocks made in a week delivering for FedEx.

Also, this guy that terrorized me all through Junior High and High School showed up to the after party and apologized to me and said this:

"I am really sorry for treating you the way I did all that time, I was really messed up. And I just want you to know that I am not just apologizing because you are hot. I would still apologize if you were fat and ugly."

I left shortly after the jocks broke out the beer bongs. :1orglaugh

He is a substitute teacher for high school english (nothing wrong with being a teacher) but I truly weep for the kids that he teaches.

The jocks were the worst.... they seriously ALLLLL delivered for FedEx and were still trying to pull the same high school game. One of them was trying to show off his Movado. I just had to restrain myself from laughing. :1orglaugh

Mine is in August.. I don't know if I will go to it or not. It would be cool to see some old friends I have lost touch with over the years.
