Another one bites the dust
Another one bites the dust
And another one gone, and another one gone
Another one bites the dust
Hey, I'm gonna get you too
Another one bites the dust

ARS Bryan 08-17-2007 11:07 AM

It seems this is getting more common lately with sponsors...

Marshal 08-17-2007 11:10 AM

Why not epassporte? It's preffered payment method for international webmasters.

teg0 08-17-2007 11:13 AM

sponsors without epassporte option = sponsors I don't use (CCBill sponsors is the only exception)

Damn I didn't know ARS was still around

Phoenix 08-17-2007 11:16 AM

its great for international webmasters for sure

tranza 08-17-2007 11:16 AM

That's VERY bad news for me.

:(

starpimps 08-17-2007 11:18 AM

so this begs the real question... will there be a service like epassporte that caters to us webmasters and not have their hands in gaming transactions. And has an option for visa electron or something along those lines

martinsc 08-17-2007 11:19 AM

bad news for us international webmasters :Oh crap

p1mpdogg 08-17-2007 11:21 AM

told you so....
EpicCash dropped those idiots moonths ago!

the alchemist 08-17-2007 11:23 AM

Sigh, more links to remove... :(

p1mpdogg 08-17-2007 11:29 AM

its funny to see affili8ates think that the programs are the ones that are wrong and removing links, when its the programs that are looking out for the affiliates intrest and their own aswell.

allot of programs do several hundred thousand a month in revenue or more, i think they have a bit more business savy and knowledge on how to best handle money and protect it, compared to some stupid bitch making 200 a week on a few sales crying about teh ease of getting their 'hard earned' money.

typical

Ross 08-17-2007 11:31 AM

I personally prefer to get my cash via epass then get it out right away. I don't trust them but for me its the best way to get paid other than wire transfer.

baddog 08-17-2007 11:34 AM

I hate to agree with p1mpdogg, but he is correct. We continue to offer it because only a few use that option, so I don't have to keep a big balance there.

No way in hell would I keep the option if it required my maintaining a balance I could not afford to lose.

As far as someone stepping up to step in their place . .

I didn't say they were wrong, but I'm sure that one of the reason why a lot of webmasters signed-up was because they had epass as a payout option, like me but hey, I could be wrong... I don't need some sponsor "looking out" for my interest, that's my job, especially when they have issues looking out for their own.

A lot of programs might be doing several hundred grands a month, but that doesn't mean they're business savvy at all or have knowledge about money, it is pretty obvious by how some of them run their program...

I didn't pull my links when EpicCash stopped offering epassporte payments because there's one site I don't want to stop promoting and the members area is well done, but I just realized I've never seen the check since then...

Just the :2 cents: of a stupid bitch...

jscott 08-17-2007 11:43 AM

epassporte is a godsend for internation webmasters, this is bad news :(

fris 08-17-2007 11:44 AM

wire 4 lyfe

Pornwolf 08-17-2007 11:48 AM

I use my Epassporte cash for routine stuff... Starbucks, whatever.

Not a bad invention IMHO.

It's a shame what's happening.

Lance69 08-17-2007 12:20 PM

Fuck, I was really hoping things would change at some point for epass. Like actually providing a small amount of customer service.
All I would ask for is a system that works, and an "effective" line of communication for all.
Not just those privileged enough to have the contact info of the one guy that works there.

JD 08-17-2007 12:22 PM

hmm guess it's time to pull the plug on epass usage for me

You mean people actually make $200 a week doing this? fuck, I must be doing something wrong.

Chris 08-17-2007 01:32 PM

two no-name programs dropped epass, big deal

hundreds of other programs left to promote

neewwman 08-17-2007 01:37 PM

What is the reason, exactly, that sponsors are dropping epass?

2?

there are atleast 6 big programs that i know of that have dropped them.

all the little mom and pop operations surely have kept them becuase they cannot afford to lose those few webmasters that demand epass.

cost of doing business i guess

Jet - BANNED FOR LIFE 08-17-2007 02:30 PM

Because they process Online gambling, and in the long run the programs risk having the funds frozen.

If you have not been paid, hit me up on ICQ, and I will look into it for you.

thonglife 08-17-2007 02:40 PM

I wonder how much longer Epassporte can continue to operate like this...

Fletch XXX 08-17-2007 02:41 PM

why everybody hate gambling and torrents, both are cool.

Zester 08-17-2007 03:03 PM

why aren't they switching to anyone of the ePassporte alternatives ?

Dagwolf 08-17-2007 03:07 PM

ouch, that's inconvenient.

Isn't epass an offshore corp? How would the US freeze it's assets if gambling is legal there. Sure I can see how you might not want direct linkage to them as an affiliate program OWNER...but from a user perspective it still sames relatively safe for the time being...

I could be wrong, just curious...

drop some knowledge on me peoples...

:pimp

im not pissed at all. I think it sucks epass could care less about who they do business with and put everyone at risk. but i wouldnt expect you to understand that.
