Let's eliminate illegal tubes ONCE AND FOR ALL
 

So all these topics lately made me think - what can we do to eliminate tubes?
As a program owner and as someone who is making money from these tube sites - I can tell you what will bring them down. People ceasing advertising on them. For example I spend over 10k a month on tube site advertising because the ROI is incredible. So the way to take tubes down is to take away their advertisers!!!

So here's what I think we should do. Approach all companies who advertise on tubes and work out a deal. Send them the same sales they make on the tubes in return for taking the ads down. So basically, for me for example - get a pool of real webmasters together who can send me 3 sales a day each so it makes financial sense to stop advertising on these sites. Then companies like twistys, aff, and all the other sites spending big money on ads every month will have no problem stopping the support of your stolen content.


Oh wait, that's right. No one here can send sales which is why we as program owners are going where the money and sales are going.

I've tried for years to buy banners from little TGPs that GFY webmasters own. They either want $2k a month for a banner that gets 97 clicks a day or don't reply to emails. Then I see them begging for trades to get an extra sale a week on their network. It's hilarious! I do everything I can to get productive webmasters from adult message boards. Guess what - that doesn't exist anymore. People here are struggling to make 1k a month selling FREE TRIAL $35pps memberships. WOW.

I've had this conversation with a few program owners, and namely a couple dating program affiliate reps. There's no such thing as "little webmasters" any more. We can't even PAY you idiots to put our ads up. So really, you're giving away your content and losing potential traffic at the same time.

You're all a bunch of under working underachieving whiners. Go out and get the traffic these sites get and maybe you will get a piece of the pie. Or sit here and say I am "hurting myself" and "destroying the industry". I frankly don't care because I am making money and you are trying to find a way to not lose your entire lifestyle. And it's your fault for not taking action and working harder to find a solution to your issues.

Now something else..... Why not buy ad spots at tube sites with clips that have a playtime of let's say maximum 2 mins.... is there something in that region that would change things around a bit?

Fantastic thought. I'd love to. But I have not found a reasonable site that has 2 min clips (teasers or hardcore) that offers good advertising rates (if they do at all)

People sure seem to toss the word "illegal" around a lot, has there been some tube site court cases that aren't being made public or something? It's kind of confusing to be honest.

You're making money just because you aren't selling porn. Which 90% of webmasters on this board do. By supporting the tube sites you are costing these webmasters a ton of money. You are basically fucking them in the ass.

How many people started hating Metallica for being so fucking cheap and stingy about their music and stopped supporting them, and how many artists have made a KILLING by giving away their music free on the internet? Don't believe artists are actually doing it? Nine Inch Nails, Trent Reznor has said due to giving away his music via his own site, he's seen a much bigger turn around.

Everyone keeps feeding these guys they will have most of the traffic. Whats to stop them from producing their own content pushing FarL and Shap and anyone else out or getting a fast size clone made in china for pennies and selling themselves and keeping all the money? Just something to think about once they have most of the traffic the other part isnt hard to recreate.

I bet you if someone actually opened up shoots to regular people to for $$ and they will show up and pay to see it in person, hell make a special studio that allows them to have their own personal room to be in, and watch the shoot behind a window so they could actually whip out their dicks and smack it around, and i'm sure they will make a killing. Tube sites can't take that.

Porn stars can tour also, If Jenna Jameson was still doing porn, with her status in the industry and the world in general, she could just show up at a strip club, do alittle dancing with some of the strippers, and make a killing there too.

Theres more to the adult industry than fucking on camera, then selling memberships to a site for surfers to see it.

Clearly they are not thinking very hard about this, because if they really wanted lots of traffic they would just give everything away for free! Traffic problem solved! What a bunch of morons!

As I made this thread, I made 4 sales from tube sites - and you made nothing. My point has been proven. No one in this thread has sent me ANY sales - but tubes have. Yet you are all in here giving your 2c and bitching and whining. I win.

That is because the affiliate industry eggs were all in the TGP basket for so many years. And well, we all know what happened with that.

There hasn't been any TGP innovation in literally an entire decade because the TGP industry paralyzed itself with submit rules so strict that evolution was not allowed to take place.

If a submitter wanted to try something new, he damn well sure wasn't going to get accepted anywhere (cheater! cheater! you are blacklisted!) And if a TGP owner wanted to go down a different path, submitters were not going to fashion galleries just for that one TGP.

So everyone stuck to the same shitty process for 10+ years. Galleries that contained 12-15 photos, from the same set, pushing one sponsor, strict limits on the type and number of ads, no javascript or Flash and a link trade at the top.

It was 2005, 2006, 2007 and the TGP's were forcing each other to work like it was still 1999. Now TGP's are pretty much irrelevant and clinging to the traffic that hasn't been exposed to tubes yet.

After what should have been a decade of evolution, TGP's should still be at the top. Webmasters at all levels should still be able to make decent money though them. But no, the "TGP mafia" didn't want to change anything since it might jeopardize their positions at the top of SexTracker.

You really think they are stealing content? You think a company like NastyDollars wouldn't go and sue the living pants of pornhub for stealing their content? No, why? because they realized that they could make money off these sites.

How many people here talk about putting sexy videos up on youtube with watermarks on them? Quite a few I've seen, how that works is they watch the video, kind of get turned on, type in the url of the watermark wanting to see more, get to a site, and signup.. That's how programs are doing it, they are giving a few full scenes away with their watermark on them to these tubes, and in exchange they get type in traffic that actually converts better then the thousands of shitty traffic affiliates send them and ends up costing them.

Think about it, they give a 20 minute video to porn hub with their watermark, that video gets hundreds of thousands of views, out of those hundreds of thousands, thousands of them type realitykings.com into their browser and go, see more, buy a membership, FULL MEMBERSHIP IS THEIRS TO KEEP.

Whereas you send them hundreds of thousands of traffic, that costs them bandwidth, and in exchange they get 10 or so sales, and end up paying you 50% of it, or $35 on a $4.99 sale that doesn't end up converting to another month. So not only are they paying extra bandwidth fees for your shitty traffic, they are giving half if not, more then they make off the sale to you.
