Just seems like a waste. Valentines isn't that important. I wouldn't want to be with someone who spends money like that. Unless i was rich as shit I suppose but even then, you don't get rich being wasteful. And is this your money or their money they are spending?

I spend my money, she spends hers. How is it wasteful to give someone you care about something or take them to dinner? Just because it isn't their birthday or Christmas? Do you only go out twice a year?

Do you spend 500-700 when you go out? If so...where are you going? You gotta draw the line somewhere in my opinion. I';ll buy something for my girl for no reason at all but to spend close to 1k per occassion, we don't need to impress each other that much.

I got him Lacoste shirt, khakis (work clothes) and a bear with a heart USB 8gig stick... so like $110.
He got me two bears, chocolates, movie tix, and after movie smoothies... oh and he paid for my highlights, pink streaks, and mani today... so lik $290.
